Since we're coming to the end of an era, I thought somebody should come up with an All-Time Indians Team.
I tried to include the players best season, and even a potential batting order.

LF Joe Jackson - 1913 .460 OBP Like starting the game with a runner on 1st.
SS Omar Vizquel - 1999 Frankly the best SS I ever saw.
DH Albert Belle - 1995 50 HR, 52 2B
1B Jim Thome - 2002 52 HR
3B Al Rosen - 1953 AL MVP
RF Rocky Colavito - 1959 42 HR 14 A Don't knock the Rock.
2B Nap Lajoie - 1906 10 WAR Season
C Jim Heagan Started 12 years, 2 World Series
CF Kenny Lofton - 1993 70 SB .325 BA
Bench:
Manny Ramirez
Roberto Alomar

Starting Pitchers
Bob Feller - Because he's the GOAT
Louis Tiant - 1968 1.60 ERA
Gaylord Perry 1972 29 CG Cy Young Award
Sam McDowell - 1970 20-12 2.92 ERA 304 K
Cory Kluber 2 Cy Young Awards

Spot starter - Satchel Paige - Cuz I wanted to put him on.
Manager - Terry Francona - Could've, should've won in 2016.

Note: Some of these old-timers might have played before the Indians name, but those other names were so short lived I made them honorary Indians.

Who were some of your favorite players?

I'm only going to make mine from my years of following the club....~1978 to 2021.

LF- Albert Belle
RF- Manny Ramirez
CF- Kenny Lofton
C- Sandy A.
1B- Jim Thome
2B- Robby A(although I'd take the 2 years of Carlos Baerga over him if he'd been able to sustain)
3B- Jose Ramirez
SS- Omar Vizquel
DH- Andre Thornton

Bench- Michael Brantley, Rick Manning, Brook Jacoby, Julio Franco, Frankie Lindor, Travis Hafner,

SP- Cliff Lee
SP- Corey Kluber
SP- Rick Sutcliffe
SP- CC Sabathia
SP- Bartolo Colon(he could really gas it!)

Honorable Mention- Charles Nagy, Neil Heaton, Dennis Martinez, Bert Blyleven,

RP- Cody Allen
RP- Eric Plunk
RP- Paul Shuey
RP- Paul Assenmacher
RP- Andrew Miller(yeah, I know we got 1 year out of him, but boy was it a year.....)

RP- Dan Spillner(no, not really)

My favorite players, only of who I've watched

C- Victor Martinez; would;ve gone Sandy if I could have the healthy version
1B - Jim Thome, easy
2B- Carlos Baerga, 91-95 version (before he started partying)
SS - Jhonny Peralta, criminally underrated because he followed a fan favorite. But easily the best offensive SS in club history, save the guy who flips people off with Mets
3B - Travis Fryman, really good offensively and defensively
LF - Albert Belle, my all time favorite Indian
CF - Kenny Lofton, back when speed mattered, he was the best base stealer in the AL
LF - Joe Carter, first Indian I remember rooting for
DH - Pronk

SP - CC Sabathia
SP - Bartolo Colon
SP - Jake Westbrook
SP - Carlos Carrasco
SP - Charlie Nagy

Obviously other guys were better, but these guys I had the most fun rooting for

RP - Rafael Betancourt
RP - Paul Assemacher
CL - Jose Mesa

Jose Mesa in 95 was just unhittable. We'll just end that there.

1B: Jim Thome
2B: Carlos Baerga
SS: Omar Vizquel
3B: Jose Ramirez
LF: Joe Carter
CF: Kenny Lofton
RF: Manny Ramirez
C: Sandy Alomar

SP: Corey Kluber
SP: Cliff Lee
SP: CC Sabathia
SP: Charles Nagy

It seems like the only "locks" are Lofton in CF and Thome at 1st.

Avila and Boudreau.
how about our own angry hamster— better than when I see above

How anyone could compile a list without Gomer Hodge is beyond me. I’m stunned absolutely stunned!

Okay. Maybe Cats is old enough to have seen him play—pinch hit—too:)

Gomer! Gomer!

Hell, Cy Young didn't make a list yet. Or HOF CF Earl Averill.
Just because people have passed away, doesn't mean they weren't great.
That's what makes baseball so great. You can go to baseball-reference.com and look at stats from 100 years ago.
