Cleveland Notes

* Yeah, blockbuster trade yesterday...so we only have 6 guys in uniform tonight. We traded 6 guys (Gooden, Hughes, Newble, Donyell, Shannon, Simmons) , plus 3 guys out with injuries (AV, Sasha, Boobie).

* Boobie is out 4-6 weeks with a "severely sprained left ankle", and it looks like his role will be completely absorbed into the new players' rotation. He'll probably have to battle Damon Jones for the spot-shooter role (easy), and win back his additional backup PG minutes from Snow 4-5 games after he comes back. The big loser in this will probably be Sasha, since Wally is a natural scorer.

* Snow hasn't played in 4 games, so it would make sense to start Damon just for this game. Eric should be getting used to playing backup PG to Delonte. Damon should eventually move back into the spot-shooter role until Boobie returns, 9th or 10th man. I for one am happy to still have that jackass still on the team for now.

Washington Notes

* What's to say? They'll probably abuse us since we only have 6 guys.

* They're waiting on Caron Butler to come back. Maybe he will, maybe he won't.

* Antonio Daniels is holding down the PG spot until Arenas' supposed return in early March. His play has been tepid and uninspiring, but adequate.

Mike Brown Gameplan Keys

* This game is a throwaway. What's important for Mike Brown is Saturday's practice- getting theoretical lineups underway, and offensive gameplans for them. Hopefully it doesn't take him 15 games to realize that Delonte West should be our floor general.

* We play a farm team Sunday- a Pau Gasol-less Memphis. They've even been sitting Mike Miller in hopes of getting a trade done, but it didn't happen. Hopefully we'll be rolling with Delonte at point, Wally at SG, and probably Joe Smith at PF by then.

* Will Ben Wallace be able to play PF effectively with Z at C?

* Our need for an offensive guru assistant coach remains. If we don't take care of this, we won't be able to fully bring out the talent of our new foursome.

Kyp's Prediction: Wizards 87 Cavaliers 77

Chris jent needs to suit up and show his 'shooting guru' touch. Can he officially play?? i bet the players union would have a fit.

There should be an official NBA 'cover players' that step in if this kind of situation arises.

I vote for Popeye Jones

He would have to quit his job as assistant coach to become a player but yes he could sign a ten day contract if he did that.

What happens if we are getting blown out and Coach decides to clear the bench. This is gonna be one hell of a spectacle.

So when we have 2 guys that foul out, every foul by the player who should be fouled out is a technical right?

Dwayne Jones cannot last this one. My guess is he'll set a new career high in every statistical catergory.

Need a couple of 10 day guys badly.

Consider this. If we go with a six-man rotation tonight, Either Eric Snow or Dwayne Jones will be on the floor all game.

Let that sink in.

We actually can use Ben Wallace tonight, for only a one time payment of $49.99 plus s/h

We need one of those roof leaks like they had at Staples right about now, anything to postpone this game.

I'll thank you out of respect for not 'unthanking' me':king:
