Anybody watching Forbidden Door?
I’ve always been an FTR (Revival) fan, but they’re crazy over right now.
AEW is gonna be screwed in about 5 years when their 40 year old WWE guys are finished. They’re following the WCW playbook almost move for move.
Do you watch AEW? Only asking because I only hear this from people who don’t watch the product and just see the signings. Plenty of young talent that will be carrying the company for years to come…and most of them are way over. MJF, Starks, power house Hobbs, Hangman, Omega, Jungle Boy, Darby, Wardlow, Jade, Toni, Malakai, Yuta….I could go on and on.

If anything, it's WWE that's going to be screwed once their last two remaining big stars Orton and Cena (who himself is barely around any more) hang it up. Most of the Attitude Era guys are too old to bring back for in-ring action too, and they've been relying on cheap nostalgia pops from those guys for two decades now.
The only guy they've managed to make matter in the past decade is Roman Reigns, and it took them basically that entire ten years to finally make it work.
Cody is probably the most over in the industry. They'll be fine with him going forward. If anything, it's WWE that's going to be screwed once their last two remaining big stars Orton and Cena (who himself is barely around any more) hang it up. Roman might reach a certain status where he looks elsewhere, or becomes part time eventually, because what else is there to accomplish in the WWE world?Cody and Roman. That's two people. They're shoving Austin Theory down people's throats. But there are guys like Ciampa, Gargano, Pete Dunn, ect who are so incredibly talented yet going to the main roster is a death sentence. They were great at organically building superstars in the Attitude Era but ever since the Cena era, they've relied so much on just having a few guys be at the top. And most of them are cut from similar cloth...

If they continue going with the same old, same old bloodline story, it's eventually going to get stale. Unless they find new ways to insert ideas and continue building it for say, the American Nightmare to crash it down.
