The Strikeout rate is pretty alarming, I want him up here but i also wished he worked on improving his walk rate in AAA before the call up.

Fans might turn on him when he piles up 3 or 4 Ks a game, but his power threat is real.

Kind of sad to hear since we all wanted him to succeed but honestly it was time for us to move on from him.

More than likely it will be Allen recalled making him the 4th OF/bench OF guy (while we send down Josh Smith) and its Civale being added to the 40 man roster.

Actually as funny as it sounds, if we move someone else to the 60 day DL, its possible we add Barnes to the 40 man as well. I would rather have him be the bench rider over Allen so Allen can keep working on his swing everyday. I know people are clamoring for Johnson, but I think its still to early for him.

Who are we releasing/moving to the 60 day DL to bring him up? We have a full 40 man roster at the moment. I feel it will be Allen right now since Johnson doesn't have the amount of ABs they like from a hitter at AAA. Pitchers have to dominant AA, while hitters they like to have a certain about of ABs at AAA before they call up it feels like (Allen has been the exception to the rule).

I'm one of the biggest supporters of the Indians front office and my post history supports that position but that doesn't change the fact that this trade turned out poorly. Honestly, I didn't think much of it at the time....

I've never seen this level of improvement in that short amount of time before.

I mean, I'm sure the Indians front office is asking the same question I am right now, "where did we fuck up with him and why?"
