Maybe you can tell me the last scrub to average 19.3 points, 11 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game in the playoffs.

I'm not the only one who sees potential in this guy.

Did anyone hear what Ray Allen had to say about him once Jerome James decided to listen.

I won't go as far as Ray but he said if he gets his act together he has the ability to to be great--not good,-not just solid like I said but great.

This is a guy who's been there with him the past season and 1/2 who can truly see what a guy can do day in and day out.

He is having a good game, because he is playing against the Kings, Brad Miller is super soft and like somebody said (which I totally forgot about), he is playing on one leg, and the Kings are much more worried about Allen, Lewis, and Ridnour.

Hes been in the league five years and has three good games, he will forever be a back up that cant play more than 20 min per. Thats all he is...Speedy Claxton blew up in the playoffs a couple years ago too, look where that got the Warriors.

He is an option, to be Z's backup next year because he will come cheap in the free agent market. Real cheap. He has proven he is a garbage player. Look at Gerald Wallace in Char, you give anybody touches they can score...its the NBA. Wallace is not a good player, neither is James.

I'd swear I said he's a solid replacement if the Cavs go another direction and want to spend there money on something else besides Z.

btw, you are a liar as well...you said on many occasions thats your not gonna respond to him anymore..but you continue to do so.

disector believes in his opinions even tho many don't agree he does have the right to believe in anything he wants.To me he just isn't gonna listen and going to continue on with this Jerome James campaign dispite the things any1 points out to him.

the biggest mistakes are to rate a player for what they do against 1 team in a series or 1 game alone. i'm sorry that just isn't enough data.

James is a better defender then Z.

James isn't going to make you confuse anyone with Ben Wallace but he did contest many of the shots in this series.

Mike Bibby is one of the hardest guys in the NBA to stop in the pick and roll when he is hitting his shots.

Ask Z and the Cavs how hard it was to stop Bibby and friends.

They dominated the Cavs both times this season and one of those games without Brad Miller.

Also go back to your player profiles and lets see what they say about Z's defense--it can't be good or they wouldn't know what they are talking about.

If he is supposed to start for our team, he has to be a good player. So you dont have to say it directly, anybody who is going to replace Z has to be good...which is why James wont be considered.

for anyone who has played basketball, it is called a "rythm", the "zone'. even the lowest of players have it. even luc longley has been in the zone. hell i have seen manute bol in the zone.

so what jerome james has busted out in the playoffs, carried his team a few games. to mention that this guy could come to cleveland and replace Z. i just spit out my coffee laughing at that.

the guy for jerome, "the disector", give it up man. of all the players to look at to pick up jerome james is on the bottom of the list. you are getting ate up by other members on this board. pack it up, throw in the towel, call it a day.

Good discussions in here, and it was certainly a good read for a while.

However, the personal attacks that has been shared in this thread is a bit too much for my liking.

For now, (as much as I hate to do it) I am going to have to close this thread before Disector gets disected again.

Disector, I appreciate your willingness to put up a good fight for your views. You don't give in and thats a good trait. But, going on and on about the topic isn't going to change another person's opinion.
