Zydrunas Ilgauskus has signed with Miami (post #127)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The irony in all this is just too much for your boy here....

I was looking at a way from blocking you from these Ilgauskas threads. Couldn't do it without banning you. Oh the temptation. :chuckles:

The Heat promised Z has flamboyant of an intro as the terrible three got.

Z runs out with fireworks going around him, a packed arena.

OH.YES.WE.DID.

The roster as we know it is at an end. I harbor no ill feelings towards Big Z because during his tenure as a Cavalier he gave everything he had, fighting through numerouse foot and toe injuries, without ever complaining or losing the will to work hard and give his all every time out on the court. While Z is obviously going after an elusive championship title he, like all veterans without a ring, deserve to go out swinging, something he would not have a chance to do with Boston (already flooded with old big men), Orlando (no cap space), Los Angeles, or really any other team. I wish him the best and will cheer him when he takes the court in Cleveland next year, most likely with tears in his eyes.

On another note, the roster needs to be dumped and rebuilt. If the words "young talent" cannot be placed next to a players name then they have no place on our roster. With the exception of a veteran point guard and any servicable center we can get I see no need to have veterans on this team on dire need of rebuilding now that the a-hole from Akron is no longer mocking us with his contemptuous attitude and selfish antics. We are not in an enviable position but with such a great owner in Dan "The Man" Gilbert and a slew of future draft picks the future looks bright for the Cavaliers, no matter how bleak the present may be.

i encourage Z to go chase a ring. he's had many good years here and he DESERVES to win one imo and i really hope he does because, even though we might now wanna hear this, we're not winning one anytime soon. i wouldve liked for him to go to maybe Orlando or Boston though.

Not LA because i really dont like Kobe, and not Miami obviously.

I hope he gets a ring, talk about conflicting interests...

Z makes sense with the Heat. Really the salary they have to work with, they aren't going to get anyone better out there. Really I think he is a big bargain at this price. Makes sense for the Heat and Z. Where else would he go and contribute?

Im happy for him.

Well Z I wish the best for you, but I still want LePip to break his legs and for Miami to fail miserably. Hmm no kidding about the conflicting feelings.

I have no problems with Z. I just hope he doesn't win a ring now.

I have no idea what the city of Cleveland did to deserve all this.

Seriously, do you guys have some sort of kitten slaughter factory or something?
