The roster as we know it is at an end. I harbor no ill feelings towards Big Z because during his tenure as a Cavalier he gave everything he had, fighting through numerouse foot and toe injuries, without ever complaining or losing the will to work hard and give his all every time out on the court. While Z is obviously going after an elusive championship title he, like all veterans without a ring, deserve to go out swinging, something he would not have a chance to do with Boston (already flooded with old big men), Orlando (no cap space), Los Angeles, or really any other team. I wish him the best and will cheer him when he takes the court in Cleveland next year, most likely with tears in his eyes.
On another note, the roster needs to be dumped and rebuilt. If the words "young talent" cannot be placed next to a players name then they have no place on our roster. With the exception of a veteran point guard and any servicable center we can get I see no need to have veterans on this team on dire need of rebuilding now that the a-hole from Akron is no longer mocking us with his contemptuous attitude and selfish antics. We are not in an enviable position but with such a great owner in Dan "The Man" Gilbert and a slew of future draft picks the future looks bright for the Cavaliers, no matter how bleak the present may be.
