I like Z and even though he never could come through in the playoffs I still hope he gets a ship as long as it's not with the Heat. But it's acceptable for him to ring chase especially because he was on the Cavs when they were bad and has gone through so much it would nice to see him win a ship. Just not with the Heat :chuckles:

I must admit I will be pretty pissed. I would like to see him go to LA, Boston, or Orlando.

Only realistic option there though is LA as the 4th big. Boston and ORL already have Gortat and O'Neal as backup centers.

Miami is his best option if he wants to play. It would just be sickening though.

No hard feelings towards Z at all. He did every thing that he could for this franchise, and unfortunately it wasn't enough for him to get himslef that championship. He deserves one, of course i'd rather see it in Orlando or LA, but Miami is fine to because I love Z.

It's in his best interest to join a team like the Heat that will respect him and actually give him consistent minutes. How could you fault the guy for going after the most sure-fire championship opportunity he'll have had his entire career after being shitted on by Mike Brown and being traded? This guy deserves a ring and we shouldn't hate on him if he goes to South Beach.

Honestly, I wouldn't hate Z, but I would be dissapointed in him. He is a quiet guy who has shown his love for the franchise over many years. I don't fault him for ring chasing in general but I would hope loyalty to the team and his own feelings of betrayal from Lebron would prevent him from joining the Heat.

As a preemptive strike against those who say "well we traded him" Everyone and their mother knew he was coming back. If Z honestly thought for a second that the whole thing was anything more than a 6 week vacation I would be incredibly surprised.

I would love for Z to get the ring but would hate to see it happen in miami. Matter of fact it would make me sick seeing him sign there. I honestly hope he just calls it quits.

Guys.

Z has been a loyal servant to the Cavaliers, he is 36 now (ithink) and the guy can barely get up and down the court.

His loyalty and devotion deserves a ring, sadly it looks like he can't win one in Cleveland. At this stage in his career he is entitled to go ring chasing, if he went to Miami I would still love the guy and think no less of him.

If there is someone in the NBA who deserves a ring it is big Z.

Z can go to ANY other team but the Heat. I would respect him less if he went to the Heat. That's simply the facts. He knows the way James left was NOT right. He could easily go to another team who will contend next year and win that ring.

Z; you better not go there.

He'll be dead to me just like LeBron.

I want so bad for him to get the ring he deserves, but not like this. I realize he's upset about the trade, but don't fuck the fans that have ALWAYS supported you in the ass to spite a GM and coach who aren't even with the team anymore.

Z's always had more class and intelligence than that. Hopefully he continues to display it.

Z going to the Heat would crush me, no lie. He's the one guy you want to see win a ring more than anyone, it'd just be such a disappointment to see him follow in LeBron's footsteps and would be viewed so poorly by this city.

But having said that, Z will without a doubt have his number retired high above the Q and will be loved no matter what he does. It'd be very painful to see him do it now, so soon after LeBron left - but you can't blame the guy for wanting to end his career on a high note.

I have no idea what will happen with Z, I'm pretty certain he won't return to the Cavs and there is the off chance he might just retire. But regardless of what he does, I'll always have love for the big guy.

It definitely would sting but I wouldn't be mad at him. We traded him. At that point all loyalty and bets are off.
