Lebron Recruits Jawad

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
But Jawad is from Cleveland, so that means he is staying

All his enablers in the league office, in the CAVS front office, his mom, the media, and us the fans are realling starting to piss me off. I dont know how you get over a 7 year lie. I am more convinced than ever that he threw the Boston series.

It really does seem that Trivissono was the only guy who had the Queen pegged correctly.

every day with each of these new stories coming out, i die a little bit more inside.. this is a terrible nightmare never ending :(

Windy has got to take a hit. He obviously knew some of this crap but did not write about it. The whole thing is just embarrassing. I wonder whether wojo would say the same thing now about gilbert that he said a week ago. It seems to me that everything gilbert said was absolutely correct with the exception of the ridiculous guarrantee of a title before the heat. Maybe he has a contract out on a couple of the guys.

Great, thorough piece by Wojo. I hope he stays all over LeLie this year and in the future, so the truth haunts him and sucks the life out of his precious brand...which is all the ADD Queen cares about.

We now know LeQuit has had one foot out the door for some time. That became two feet as the playoffs neared. The mysterious elbow injury excuse. The erratic play. The zero leadership. Distracted. Little passion or interest in 3 of the 6 Boston games (2,4 and 5), particularly Exhibit A--Game 5 The Quit. He insured the Cavs never had a chance to win that series, or a championship this year. He obviously said fuc$ you to the Cavs and fans right after Game 6.

Cavs fans, franchise and players need to move on and reconstruct, but not forget what LeFraud did and in fact, to use it as healthy motivation...that we will be back someday even stronger than we were with LeFraud.

I don't think LBJ truly understands or knows the passion of northeast ohio sports fans. I wonder how long he's going to continue to push these kinds of actions? How long is too long? Does he ever worry about his personal safety while he trashing his hometown? Or does he have quite enough security at ALL times?

Personally; I think him and his young kids are naive and stupid. That's what I think.

If you're talking about LeBron Jr. and Bryce I'd calm down a bit...they're what....6 and 4 respectively? :chuckles:

If you mean his "young crew of friends", I totally agree with you :chuckles:

The story being painted now that the chips have fallen where they may is that Lebron didn't really care much about the Cavs or Cleveland and that he was planning to leave a long time ago. How active he is in recruiting now combined with the news from today's Yahoo Sports article, it really does appear that he in fact screwed the Cavs over by stringing them along.

I just don't understand the immaturity in this decision process. He clearly performed on the court except arguably the Celts series. As BW noted he had earned his right to leave but instead of leaving on a concilitary note (quick decision saying he was going to leave after the playoffs ended, a nice full page add in the PD thanking the fans, spending a good portion of the hour thanking the fans and the franchise) he chose to leave in the most assholish way possible

Fixed for you. :)

LeBron recruiting Williams: James has already recruited Zydrunas Ilgauskas and former Cavs trainer Mike Mancias to Miami. His latest attempt, a source said, is to bring athletic forward Jawad Williams. He's a restricted free agent after averaging 4.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in 54 games last season. The Cavs are believed to be interested in re-signing Williams and can match contract offers to him.

Problem is Heat have no cap space so I don't see how they're going to get him unless it's in a S&T...

I think you are right. We were credulous, but we were also misinformed by the press. People who knew this dude should have dared to speak out, access be damned...
