The fuck are you talking about? I quoted MoFlo not Q-Tip.

After which you no doubt backtracked fast as hell, but still. I made my comment after reading this one.

I didn't backtrack on shit. If dude said it then he got what was coming to him; if he didn't then who knows, maybe he didn't? The point is context.. You're reading my post out of that context.. The context of the post is on Page 1 where I said "if dude said xyz"..

As I said, read the thread...

How do you guys feel about tort reform?

I never worried about guns, I worried about being blindsided and stomped on my skull by 3 dudes at once. I agree w Surge tho: back "then" it just seemed like people fought, punched and wrestled, then got tired or one person kinda won and put on the brakes. I feel like this kind of thing was pretty harmless or maybe even healthy as a release.

I'm older than you guys, and one of my best friends was stabbed to death outside a bar the summer of our high school graduation. Three guys - 15-16 - jumped him, and one had a knife. Wasn't even that bad a place.

Shit happened back then, too. Most people just tend to romanticize the "good old days" over time, and imagine them being more noble than they really were. If it didn't happen to you, you were just fortunate enough not to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Same as now.

?

What does who you quoted have to do with you saying the guy deserved it etc?

On topic (kinda):

If someone is talking smack to me or those around me? More than likely let it slide from a physical stand point. I don't need to risk jail because some idiot ran his mouth and I'm secure enough to take an insult. Maybe it's years of working in customer service or doing stand up, but words just don't affect me as much anymore. However, in the context of a black person getting called a racial slur? I'm not going to get on a high horse and pretend I know the "right" way for that person to react. I'm a lower-middle class white dude from Ohio, how can I pretend to understand? And as someone who lived in a predominately black neighborhood in southern Maryland for a year of their life, yes I've been called cracker and honky.....and I still don't think I can really relate.

If someone harms or tries to harm my wife/family/dogs? It's going down.

You quoted me when I wasn't speaking to you.. go back and look at your post to me.

As far as what I said, nothing I said was hard to understand.

From the very first post in this thread, my position has not changed. Dunno why you think I backtracked.

If he said it, then he got what he deserved. If he didn't then I don't know. As I've said numerous times, I'm speaking in the most general sense.

I know you weren't speaking to me. I still was commenting on it...we can comment on people's posts even when it isn't directed at us. :chuckle:

Someone call me something nasty and let's see where the night takes us.

C'mon man.. you edited your post to reference a different post of mine that was addressed to you.. Originally you quoted a post addressed to someone else about something else..

I know, I figured you'd understand what I was referring to anyways since you had just replied to me. I guess not.

Black white blue red....universal law applies to all and is not biased.

Because some "black" people were oppressed by some "white" people 60 years ago is not a valid reason for anyone to say "it's different from my point of view".

Let's grow the fuck up. Is this shit ever going to go away? My guess is not until all humans as we know them are dead.
