NBA 2k11

Hey question for you guys. In association season 2 and beyond, do the commentators talk about the season 1 and playoffs and stuff? I'm still on season 1, playing as many games as possible. So far played 40/40. Currently 12-28 2nd worst, Wolves 10-31.

This is how I feel everytime I play 2K11

fuck thsi god damn game.

Just picked it up today and have dabbled in it before but nothing huge. Simmed through first year of the 59 games or whatever then started second season. drafted T. Jones with the second pick (Irving was first) along with Sullinger, and some other prick i forget. Did some random trades but didnt force anything, starting lineup of:

Mo Williams (asking for another contract, fuck you youll be gone, even though he did get me a double-double first game)
Leslie
Terrence Jones (a fucking hoss from the draft I downloaded, got me 29/4/2/2/2)
Jamison
M. Okur

Played Indi my first game, thought it wouldnt be a bad first game to get my team going, and found out they picked up Carmelo. Him and Granger together can suck my left ball. They were tearing me apart, brought it back to within 1 in the final 5 minutes (playing 9min quarters on All-Star, not good enough for Superstar) and then they went on a streak, Mo Williams can blow my dog for missing all those open 3's.

But none the less, good game. Have good cap space next year so if I just start doing real bad, ill sim again.

For anyone that simmed, did Carmelo go to the Pacers no matter what? or was that just random

I have a question that will probably make me seem really stupid (and when it comes to video games recently, that's what I am).

Where do you update rosters? My Wii is connected to the internet, and I've tried doing the Living Roster Update on the quick game screen, as well as under the Features option. It will say it updated the rosters (and show the most recent updates....for example, it highlighted Bosh being back, Okafor and Bass being hurt, etc.). But when I go to play any game, or look at any team's roster, the updates didn't take effect.

What am I missing here?

Once you have downloaded a set of rosters off of 2kshare you have to load them by going to the 2K options menu and go to load file and load up the rosters. Once you start up an assocation, my player whatever the new rosters will take effect. Same with sliders too.

In my player mode, is there any way to change the season length once it has actually started? I really don't want to play an 82 game season.

Just got this game for the 360 and it's definitely the most realistic NBA game I've ever played. I can't score or hit a shot to save my life though.

Nope, gotta play 82 games. . . although you might get a little "lucky" and get hit with a few minor injuries and sit them out. . . or you can get extremely unlucky like I did and not get injured (at least visually) during a game and then be told after the game saves that your play is out til after the all-star break, losing your spot
