This was the same exact thing I was thinking last night. The Browns saw that a bunch of WR/OL were dropping, and figured they could get a guy they really liked at 37, so might as well grab Weeden with #22, and ensure that they get him. I personally think it will be hard to judge the Weeden pick until we see what they do tonight.I can only assume the Browns did some math before they picked Weeden. And that the math told them that at least 5-6 guys are still on the board that they like and that if they could still get them with this 2nd, then it really wouldn't matter where they took Weeden, so long as they got him.
At least, that's my argument, and I'm sticking to it...
