You are correct. They had his staff in the first bonus scene at the end of Winter Soldier.

This isn't really the thread for it, but is anyone else excited to see what Netflix does with Daredevil?

I'm really interested to see if they're going to continue to (mostly) follow the Cap stories from Ed Brubaker. Those were some great comics, and I think they'd work really well in movie form. It would also give the Marvel movies a natural transition away from Chris Evans as Captain America if he's not interested in doing more than his current commitment's worth of movies.

The movie sucked, but the Bendis comics were incredible...easily some of the best story arcs I've ever read. I'm also digging the casting so far. If they follow the Bendis Daredevil comics, we could be looking at a really great show.

sebastian stan who plays Bucky apparently has a 6 picture deal in place so I would think it would be likely they follow that arc to its conclusion

Elevator (2011 or 2012, on Netflix). One of the worst, most frustrating movies I have ever seen. Just a terrible, infuriating script. Ugh.

Decided to watch it after the horror elevator movie, The Devil, which was decent.

Now watching Gilbert Grape for the first time.

Gilbert Grape is a really amazing movie if you can get past the banality of everyone's lives and recognize:

(A) how great Leo was
(B) how honest it is about shitty little small town lives

excellent movie, really enjoyed it, went into it totally blind not knowing anything about it other than leo was playing a special kid. was scared it might have a sad ending. then it didn't and i was happy.

now watching cheerleaders must die

quite the 180

I need horror movie recommendations for tonight... I've seen MOST movies out there, something that's on Netflix/Hulu or that has been released on DVD... Anything, but has to be scary.. Not scary funny.. but genuinely unnerving. I just watched "The Returned" again, it wasn't that bad, but the ending was so predictable.

a haunting in connecticut 2 was so "scary" that my gf couldn't watch it. not in a suspenseful way at all, but if you want the kind of movie where the girl is covering her eyes and wants your protection, it would do the trick. not a good movie though i don't think.

the scares come so frequently though that after about ten minutes of the film its a bore. we only watched like twenty minutes of it. maybe watch it a bit yourself to see if its what you want.

now watching satan's little helper. pretty funny but its going on too long...but about 2/3 of the movie features Katheryn Winnick in a sexy maiden halloween costume

have u seen I saw the Devil (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1588170/?ref_=nv_sr_1)? not sure if that's the type of horror movie you're looking for but i thought it was excellent. you've probably already watched The Descent 1+2 (the first one is great http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435625/?ref_=nv_sr_1)!? The Chaser is another good one (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1190539/)

Finally watched Pumping Iron. 10/10. The way Arnold punked Lou before his poses was incredible.

I heard the new TMNT movie got the most horrific reviews. I'm curious if any of the members have seen it.

I was unsure if I could stomach seeing both Transformers and TMNT. I was a TMNT since I was like 5, so I knew I'd see that. I ended up getting free tickets to Transformers, so I did see both.

I went into both with low expectation. Transformers actually was better than my very low expectations. Mostly because Stanley Tucci is awesome.

I just got back from TMNT and still don't know if I could name a redeeming quality from the movie.

They even messed up "Cowabunga". Listen, all I needed was 20 minutes of the Turtles fighting the Foot Clan and a good Cowabunga line. But they provided neither. The Foot had these weird masks, and constantly were using Uzis and explosives. At one point, the Turtles came upon a warehouse full of like 100 foot clan. I thought, "Yes, finally, I get to see the Turtles fight some foot clan for 10 minutes. Yeah, I know they aren't in any real danger, but this movie needs this". What happens?

THE FOOT PICK UP THEIR UZIS AND THE TURTLES RUN AWAY!!! IN WHAT UNIVERSE DO THE TURTLES RUN AWAY FROM THE FOOT! AND THE FOOT DON'T HAVE GUNS!!! THEY ARE FUCKING NINJAS!! GO FUCK YOURSELF MICHAEL BAY!!!!!

They should've had Krang as the villain. If your movie has no plot and more product placement than character development, at least go for broke with a giant brain as the bad guy.

Just so bad.

edit - One part did make me laugh. Megan Fox and Will Arnett's characters were discussing the origin of the Turtles. Will Arnett said, "So, like they're aliens" and Megan Fox says, "No, that'd be stupid". This was a reference to early scripts that had the Turtles as aliens. There was such backlash, they changed it. But them as aliens might've been a better movie, tbh.

As soon as I saw Megan Fox as April O'Neil and Tony Shaloub as Shredder, I shed a single tear and refused to watch this movie.
