Johnny Manziel: Swan Won't Return His Calls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
im disappointed the pass isnt set up where you can have a camera on Johnny Manziel all the time like they do in nascar. We want to see Manziel pat guys on the back when they come to the sideline. critic how he holds a clipboard and make money signs whenever a browns player does something good.

ABC's slow-mo at the end of the game broadcast of Johnny congratulating Hoyer after the game was just amazing. Apparently Fox's broadcast is run by hipsters.

The amount of national media attention to Johnny on the bench should start annoying Clevelanders by now... Its undermining the plan which, to this point, has been more successful than the national people expected. They should cover the scrappy Browns succeeding, but you get Johnny Bench pics instead.

I wouldn't wish an injury on Hoyer but i did feel a twinge of excitement when he got up limping

I look forward to seeing more johnny packages

Fitting that his first pass he ends up holding the ball too long, reverse pivots away from the pocket and throws it across his body falling away. The throw was on target but of course Agnew was open before he spun away making all that stuff he did completely unnecessary.

Agmew wasmt the primary option on the play. he was an outlet. THe right side of the field was overrun and he rolled out to his wide open outlet..

you want him throwing left from the right hash mark. he had a receiver up the sideline and one on a slight slant on the right side as well.

in fact props to johnny for not throwing the fools gold pick six and letting the play develop

agnew wasnt the primary target on that play he was the outlet.

Of course the rookie FB was not the primary target. I'm not saying he was. I'm saying after Manziel scanned the field he had Agnew as a check down near the hash mark. Instead of standing tall and delivering the football at the appropriate time, he saw #95 come up the middle and he went with his instinct which was to get out of there. Because he bolted too early instead of making the throw, he rolls out and throws across his body. Agnew has to make that catch but Manziel has to stay in there and deliver that ball instead of doing that unnecessary roll out.

There is a gif of the play on the link- if anyone can pull it feel free to post it in here to see how it went down..

Wow, that's completely wrong. If he stands tall and delivers he gets decked from an unblocked rusher- Bitonio obviously missed his block on #95. Despite throwing across his body the throw was on time and more than catchable, stop penalizing him for leaving the pocket when it was actually necessary to avoid pressure.

If he dumps it off in the first frame of the clip and still got deck it would have been a penalty

Dude had to roll out as Cosmo said, #95 was about to run him over. He then bought time for Agnew to get open and hit him in the hands with a pass that only Agnew could catch. Textbook play by a QB. To criticize Manziel for that is absurd.

Exactly. Not only does he complete the pass but if he gets hit it's a 15 yard penalty. Instead he opts for the out of control play that in this instance led to a dropped ball but plays like that lead to big plays going the other way.
