Hey, I'm not saying you're rooting against the Browns, that's unfair and you won't get that from me.
I also don't think you're unjustified in pointing out the negatives as there has been, as everyone knows, more negative than positive the past 15 years - and that might be the understatement of the century.
What I DO think is that honing in on the shortcomings has become your hallmark. Hey, what the hell, if nothing else it sparks good debate and provides entertainment value so more power to you.
EDIT: I also want to clarify for the umpteenth time that I, in no way, am placing Hoyer in the top 10 category, never have, and there's a chance I never will (hopfully I'm proven wrong). I know we've gone down that road with Gordon in the past. Now THAT I will argue.
It's awe-inspiring that I have basically the same level of expectations and rationality for the Browns and Indians, yet on one board I'm considered the ultimate homer and on this board the ultimate hater.
I would suggest my hallmark has been offering up relentlessly sound draft advice and then watching the players I disliked crash and burn in Cleveland.
Any other commentary I would describe as realistic. I'm absolutely loving what Hoyer's done thus far, and he's firmly entrenched as the starter in Cleveland for what should be the forseeable future barring any sort of catastrophic league adjustment that renders him as useless as Derek Anderson.
All I've argued is to pump the brakes on the top 10 QB talk, which may not have been said by you but has still been out there for a few weeks now.
