2014 Cleveland Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
ladies and gentlemen. heading into week 10 the cleveland browns will be at the worst tied for the best record in the AFC north

welcome to 6-3

What if Pitt wins Sunday? They will have a 0.5 game lead.

So Skrine Island? Can we make this a thing?

Joe Thomas graded out to a 6.4. Too dominant.

This really is a weird fucking team.

They are Taylor Gabriel staying on his feet or not shitting their pants against Jacksonville away from being 7-2 and tied for first in the AFC.

Even when you wanna go negative and not get your hopes up too much, you have to remind yourself they just did that without THREE fucking Pro Bowlers. Also knowing in two games they'll have a Pro Bowl TE and WR back, along with their leading WR all at the same time.

The key is obviously the running game. If they run the ball well they're a solid ass team. No Super Bowl contender, but I think what we have now would've pleased everyone in the beginning of the season.

One takeaway I had from last night is that the Browns offensive line may look much better against 4-3 defenses than 3-4 defenses. Against that front four, they could cover for McDonald more easily.

Great game tonight:

We get some extended rest and have a winnable home game against Houston. Hopefully Cameron, Taylor, and Hawkins can get healthy.

If we can win that game we will be 7-3 with Josh Gordon set to return the following week.

Gordon
Hawkins
Austin
Gabriel
Benjamin
Cameron

Suddenly the receiving corp doesn't look so bad.

Tough not to be excited. Hope we can keep it up.

Yeah our receiving corp looks SO shitty without Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron.....

Hawkins 8th
Gabriel 9th
Benjamin 18th
Austin 44th
Barnidge 18th

The whole "lack of weapons" talk is a total joke. People in the other thread are talking about how Hoyer is doing so well with so little talent around him. We literally have TWO WR's playing at a Pro Bowl level= talentless players, I guess. I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed when Gordon gets back our passing game still looks the same or maybe even slightly worse.

Today is a day to celebrate a win rather than bitch about members opinions... but let me know when any of the receivers blocks downfield. It drives me nuts, especially when the running back blows past the front seven. But hey, a win is a win is a win.

You're right Keys, there were at least 3 times last night my buddy and I were saying "Throw a freaking block and it's a TD"

everyone is very excited over last nights victory...

We are going to get the NFL's leading receiver from last year and our Pro Bowl tight end back...and maybe get worse??? That defies any logic whatsoever.

I was listening to Deion Sanders and he was saying that the crew had to do more homework on last night's game than any game the whole season because they knew so little about our offense. "They got a bunch of rookies, undrafted cats and low draft picks that i've never even heard of...we were all like, Benjamin, Gabriel, Barnidge, Grey? How are these guys 5-3? How is he throwing for over 200 yards every single week?". He said it's Brian Hoyer and the experienced offensive line making these guys shine until the reinforcements are brought back in. The best was when he said, "Take away Jordan Cameron and plug in Greg Barnidge...doesn't matter to Brian Hoyer". :chuckle:
