The team will be better without him, as bad as that is to say. Looking forward to Samuel getting to return now.

I sincerely doubt that, but I'm confident they'll be able to replace him with the depth they have.
 
Jalin Marshall pretty much makes Dontre Wilson obsolete. Wilson may have a step on him but Marshall is an all around better football player.
 
Dontre is good at getting open and is good at jet sweeps. That's about it.

So unless there's a pretty unexpected upset, you'll have Florida State, Mississippi State or Alabama, Oregon or Arizona State, TCU, Baylor, and Ohio State as your contenders for the Playoffs.

It's not unrealistic, but they'll certainly need a lot of help.

The nightmare scenario has already been thwarted. We had people on this board calling for Meyer's job, we had people around the nation talking about how we fell off, we likely had recruits concerned with joining a paper tiger. And then we went into East Lansing and put up points on what, 6 drives in a row? With our freshman qb and our young OL. Yeah, those same guys who didn't have a ton of snaps to get ready for Beamer's defense and got stunned at home. Yeah those guys are really good, and so is that OSU program.

We are on the outside looking in with lots of football left. That's it.

All this talk about nightmares is hilarious. I just can't seem to get a bad taste in my mouth while I savor the flavor of this ass-kicking.

Can't imagine an offense where getting open at WR is not a huge positive.
 
Who called for Meyer's job on this board? That sounds false.

Anyways, even if we don't make the playoff I will be satisfied with actually winning the Big Ten finally. I think I'm getting my tickets to Indy...hope that weekend goes better than it did last year (disappointment in Indy on Saturday, Browns get fucked by the Pats on Sunday, get shot on Monday).

Sucks because there's still 3 games left, but I'd be beyond shocked if this team lost to Minnesota, Indiana, or Michigan. If they face Nebraska in the B1G Title Game, that will be pretty tough though...
 
Pray we don't have that stupid emotional let-down game and come out flat against Minn.
 
Twitterverse is saying the Michigan OSU game might be at 8 pm.
