Both Cavs and Spurs going after West Today
It starts now boys....

I think people are jumping the gun on West. He'd be our 4th big here. If Kevin Love plays to his potential he's better than Aldridge. I actually would be comfortable with our front court against theirs.

Nba champs aren't crowned in the offseason. A good portion of making it to and through the finals is luck (read: injuries).

Strong odds that San Antonio's opening day starting five will not be the same one starting in the playoffs.

Battle of attrition... Strap in, this season should be a fun ride.

I'm aware of the technicalities but its still Varejao we are talking about here. As I recall his injury happened in a weird way, nobody was around him and he stepped the wrong way, me and you can try that step and will be fine. For whatever reason he's made of glass.

Edit: there was a few by him, my mistake, but it was a simple move and he popped it. I'm worried about him and weary of Love, another big like Morris could do us good.

That was coming off a full NBA season without injury, followed by a summer with the Brazilian National Team. Friday a Cavaliers fan perspective, his body and history of injuries demand that he stop playing for his country, but I can't stress this enough: Nobody has a crystal ball.

The plan has been to upgrade from Perkins and hope AV is more like himself for the late 2016 season. I'm more curious about the posters who think they should use the stretch provision on him now, this summer.

This is not what I wanted.

Now Kyrie and Love will have to face a savvy group in the Spurs for their first real finals experience.

Golden State were ready to lose the first 3 games against us if we had Love and Kyrie.

I dont care what anybody says we just needed Kyrie OR Love to beat the Warriors.

Say what you will. But I'm rooting for the Thunder to make the finals.

Not sure why we'd use our MMLE on him. I'd take him for the veteran's minimum. But, there's literally no where to play him.

We need to shore up other positions. I don't know, he's good, I just don't know where he'd play.

In the word of Aaron Rodgers R.E.L.A.X. Parker, Duncan, Diaw, and Ginobli aint getting any younger and depth is getting worse. Didn't even get out of the first round this year. Aldridge makes them better no doubt but losing Splitter will hurt big. We can take em if they make it out of the west

The man has no lateral quickness left and can't jump over a phone book, playing "more like himself" doesn't even seem possible anymore. It seems like the injuries and play style has taken a gigantic toll on his body
