I don't know if that's even true. But if it is, screw LeBron. He should be helping the team out. He should convince Tristan to take our already more than generous offer, and he should be helping out with free agents if he really wants them.

But wait.... I just remembered. Didn't Griff say they talk to LeBron everyday, implying he has a hand in their free agent/trade options?
 
Everyone please remember two things:

1. LeBron, according to all, wasn't going to pitch Kevin Love on returning to Cleveland and yet according to Love, the pool party meeting was essential.

2. It's Windy

Maybe he felt Tristan's signing was "a done deal", but has pause now for some reason.

I don't believe it. LBJ isn't going anywhere. As such, by not recruiting, he's also hurting his chances to get a ring in Cleveland. LBJ is not stupid.
 
Not mad at LB, he comes with baggage, this is who he is. The Cavs obviously are aware of it. Sometimes you just got to surrender and give him what he wants.

I don't like it anymore than anyone else, but can ya do, try strong arm tactics? Obviously doesn't work with him.

I don't see the big deal giving Tristan his money. Maybe Gilbert does, haha, but its not like he's going to be trade bait for us.

Obviously he's not leaving with LB here. That's why I'd just pay him, even if its an overpay. Which it is.
 
I feel like Windy is to LeBron as Woj is to the Lakers/Knicks. Their water-carrier.
 
Reading between the lines here West won't sign with the Cavs without talking to LeBron first. LeBron won't talk to West until Thompson has an agreement.

Fine. If Lebron is power tripping, being passive aggressive, cutting off nose to spite face, whatever... His (counterproductive) prerogative.

But please please spare us the "we ran out of talent" comments after a Game 6 finals loss that secures Spurs 2016 trophy.
