Well last summer we had to give away two second rounders for a smaller one then this.You'd think we could get away with giving them some cash considerations or something. The other team is literally giving up nothing. Not even "nothing" like the Haywood contract, actually nothing.
I think 2 second rounders is the starting point. But people act like there is a huge line to give us the TPE, it will be us trying to convince the other team it is worth their time. Last time we had a huge one from 2010, we were unable to cash in. I am hoenstly not ecited at all about a TPE, where we have to give assets for something at at best has a 50/50 shot of us finding a trade partner at the deadline.
Important to remember we tried hard to trade Haywood this spring. Riley nixed a deal where we could have gotten Cole. We knew it was not 100 percent we would find a taker this summer. Many on here got carried away like we had a golden ticket, but in reality teams are not fighting over this Haywood contract.
