Two high school football players intentionally hit ref

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What a tool... James Short was a great guy and they're doing very good things in his memory. This definitely tells me a lot about you. Human garbage stuff there.

?????

James was the pro skater killed by a drunk driver.

I've watched his daddy stumble out of more than his fair share of bars and drive away.

It's no different to me than not being sad about a kid that got murdered recently. He was a "good kid" that spent almost every day on FB threatening to kill anyone that posted on his g/f's facebook. Then he got gunned down because he snitched on someone.

You're probably questioning the post because you've got me on ignore.

What?

He said something very offensive on a personal level. I know the people who lost their son and they get annually tormented by X on top of it. The context of it spans outside of this forum.

Edit: James wasn't a pro; he just made a lot of friends in the community.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.. guy got what was coming to him....

Sure, things should've went differently, but they didn't. He's no victim.. Fuck him.

But we don't appear to have any concrete evidence that he did deserve it. It's easy to call the guy a racist prick, but what if the kids are just using that because they realized they're in serious hot water and needed to shift blame to him to avoid repercussions? That seems just as likely to me as a ref in a high school football game calling a couple of kids racial slurs. Like, is this the first time he's done that? If so, why did he choose this particular game to start being a racist?

And I'm not saying it's not possible that he said these things. It's just that it seems just as likely to me that these kids were a couple of pricks who did something stupid and then made up an excuse after the fact to cover their asses.

I haven't sent one in a couple years, right around the time my daughter was born.

But the more you defend hypocrites, the less I care about how upset it makes you.

No man you misunderstand me..

I have no idea what was said, I just read your post and his and I didn't make the connection. I still have little to no idea what X was referring to...

Sorry for your loss.

Right, I get that, and it could all be a sham. I'm simply speaking in the general sense, not really specifically about this situation.

I'm questioning the post because I have no idea who this person is or what the hell you guys are talking about. @Soda said something that was pretty intense, so, I thought it was worth clarifying.

And for the record, I generally don't put other posters on ignore - it fucks up the flow of the thread.

I don't deny my violent aggressive tendencies. I do deny allowing them to control my response to every situation.

To be fair, I'm an equal opportunity asshole that doesn't stop at racial comments.

Young guy gets killed by a drunk driver while riding his motorcycle. Becomes mass outpouring of support, drunk driving campaigns etc. Father of young guy and his friends create a yearly benefit at the skate park for him.

Father of young guy condemns all drunk drivers, constantly posts about it on FB, talks about in public, etc.

Father of young guy had 3 DUIs before 1990, and one more since his kid got killed by a drunk driver.

I send him the keychain breathalyzer tests every year on the anniversary of his son's death.

I don't like hypocrites.

What's worse? Being a hypocrite or a complete piece of shit human being? Don't know you personally, but the way you described yourself in this situation paints that picture. Sad to see in a separate post that you've actually procreated. Jesus.

There is much anger in this one.

Just so I understand this..

You repeatedly mocked a man who lost his son in a drunk driving accident, by sending him shit in the mail on the anniversary of his son's death, just because he had a couple of DUIs in 1990?

And you stopped only after your daughter was born?

Seriously?

Well hey, atleast he doesn't respond to racial confrontations with violence... What a good guy!

By the way, as far as the initial topic of this thread... I may not fully agree with how those kids handled that situation with the ref, (assuming racial comments were made) but overall I tend to side with you on this one. Don't start shit, and there won't be shit.
