Two high school football players intentionally hit ref

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just so I understand this..

You repeatedly mocked a man who lost his son in a drunk driving accident, by sending him shit in the mail on the anniversary of his son's death, just because he had a couple of DUIs in 1990?

And you stopped only after your daughter was born?

Seriously?
I believe X said he also had one after the son's death.

Well hey, atleast he doesn't respond to racial confrontations with violence... What a good guy!

By the way, as far as the initial topic of this thread... I may not fully agree with how those kids handled that situation with the ref, (assuming racial comments were made) but overall I tend to side with you on this one. Don't start shit, and there won't be shit.

An eye for an eye will leave everyone blind, my son.

Being told "hey you're a faggot" might get you to be violent (if you're a homosexual), but then again, maybe you could just not be offended by someone else's ignorant comment and keep on truckin'.

To be honest, I probably would be drinking pretty heavily if one of my children died..

Or you could kick their ass and teach them a lesson while getting some degree of satisfaction.

Again man, it might not be your thing.. but if someone were to do that to me, that'd be enough of a reason to put someone in their place.

That seems to be beside the point, though. There's nothing in the debate about solely drinking. It's about drinking and driving. I think the point is that he does the exact thing that killed his son. One would imagine that the death would have been enough of sign to prevent him from doing it. It doesn't seem to have been.

If you're out and about and you think you see someone look at you wrong......do you think you might confront them to fight?

It's not beside the point as far as I can tell.

I'm sympathizing with the man's plight, and I'm trying to understand how he might have chosen to grieve on a particular night. It's his cross to bear.

I just can't imagine how that means it's okay to send him shit in the mail, essentially mocking the death of his son. I mean.... am I missing something?

And to refer to what @The Human Q-Tip pointed to - who is to say you'd be kicking their ass?? Maybe you end up getting your shit pushed in for all we know?

You probably don't want me to answer that question.....

but... depends on the look.

I'm really not the aggressive type; but I learned a long time ago to fight when called for.. I also learned it's often best to throw the first punch.

Listen, I carry a gun - EVERYWHERE. It's best for me never to fight nor EVER throw the first punch.

The only time I fight is when I'm in serious physical danger (or someone else is in order to protect them). Period.

That's some hoe shit to be honest.. you win some you lose some, but you shouldn't be afraid to confront someone if they've disrespected you.. At least, that's how I live my life.

But by all means man; you do you.

I carry a gun too bro.. You're not the only one..

But carrying a gun and drawing it are two completely different things, and I rarely take the fucker out of my trunk - if ever. I don't need in 99.99999% of the time.

I would only draw my gun if I intended on using it, and nothing in this thread meets that description. That's another conversation entirely.

Haven't said anything about X sending things or not. That wasn't my intention with adding the bit of detail to your recount.

And, is it his cross to bear if he's then endangering other people, let alone in the same manner that his son died? We can throw out the son's death, by the way, and it still doesn't make it any more acceptable.

I carry on my person.

For you to say that it's OK for you or anyone else to be violent if someone calls them a name is the reason why most people fear - ironically - people like you who might carry guns.

I'm not excusing his DUIs, I'm "sympathizing with his plight.."

I have no idea why that would mean he should be mocked on the anniversary of his son's death.
