So long, Kay Felder

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Plus point guards typically take longer. He just really has the odds stacked against him
Pretty sure he is used to that situation, in regards to odds..

I don't think he will take 4 seasons to develop to decent bench pg.. if he does he won't be with us..I think his scoring is already NBA level. Needs to work on defense and assists.. Some of you are right about him hitting the weight room though as that is what Robinson did.. but that will screw with his shooting for a season..

I think his high turnover rate is related to his pushing the envelope on assists. This gets better only with game time situations, which he will only get in this season at DLeague. So we are doing the right thing..

I thought they were assigning him on off days, I wondered why he wasn't in Miami. I'll catch this game online and just watch the Felder parts.

I thought they were too. It seem weird on a back to back that LBJ and Kyrie were resting that he was sent down. That game was primed for Felder to get minutes and go against NBA level talent. Giving him minutes in throw away games will allow him to make mistakes, learn from them, and not worry about getting yanked.

I'm not sure why people keep posting Felder's D-League accomplishments as if they'll have any bearing on our team. McRae has the D-League scoring record and we couldn't trade him for a week-old burrito missing salsa.

You are missing the point. Look how jacked he is, he looks like a future Mr.Olympia.

If you wear camo on the basketball court, shouldn't it be parquet colored?
I'm waiting for someone to wear a kit that has the texture of a match ball and played on a court that looks the same. Might be fun

These DLeague numbers are only going to get more laughable. They're adding 3 more teams next year. That's 30 more guys avoiding the real world.

Know what? I'm all for it as long as rosters at the NBA level are expanded. If five years from now every team possesses the rights to two or three development players in the D League, the whole system begins to resemble baseball's system.

Until then, I'm left shaking my head why any contender wastes a valuable roster spot on a minor leaguer who might someday be useful for ten minutes a game. The Bogut injury helps cement that opinion for me.

I mean, it's better to see him scoring well down there than for him to not be, but scoring in the D-League doesn't impress me at all. Manny Harris is the league leader last I checked, and Pierre Jackson's been a near 30 ppg guy down there as well.

A team with Lebron will always look to win a championship. There is no time and space to develop a point guard. Especially since free agents will always want to play with Lebron. I really don't see Kay being around after next season unless he makes a huge jump in pg skills.

Felder still doesn’t look any better up in the NBA after a successful stint in the D-League, even playing garbage time minutes against other bench scrubs.

It takes guys like him for years to develop into even a role player. He can learn and he may one day be a piece on a winning team. Felder is a lot like Waiters he rushes the issue and he is small. However Felder with his size has a window to be something in the NBA. It is up to him first and for most.
