In terms of Wade, I thought that stretch where he ran the 2nd unit was interesting. I'm not sure of the +/-, but he seemed to look pretty comfortable attacking off P&R at the top of the floor and managing the flow of the game. I like his defensive instincts also, he is a really smart player - can quickly see why he used to be so good.

I also think with Kevin, either he or Lebron should always be out there. When Lebron is out Kevin can be the focal point running sets from the elbows and getting P&R action with Wade or Rose. He needs to be more involved in the offense and not just a floor spacer IMO.

No need to play LBJ in the first half. Lue is the biggest problem on this team

Wade needs to come off the bench and I think LBJ and Wade will be smart enough to see it eventually. Wade would be awesome off the bench and would eat up the other teams #2 point

JR needs to start, cannot have both JR and Korver on the bench. Korver would spell JR and thankfully playing vs the other teams #2 team

A bench of Wade, TT, Green, Korver, Frye in situations is pretty damn good

People are going both ways on Rose, I thought he was fine, like him always attacking the rim

Problem on offense is always the GOAT, he just slows things down to a crawl. Whole second half....dribble, dribble jack up a three. That last series, we are up 3, drive the ball to the hoop and get fouled or post up and get fouled. Irvings last shot should have never meant anything

Oh, and some tell Green that he is allowed to pass the ball to someone once he gets it
Yeah... just irritating that other teams with lesser bench than the Cavs find ways to play their superstars in the mid 30s minutes... then there is Lue with the lineup the Cavs have now always finding ways to play LBJ too many minutes... I didn't care much that the Cavs look a little bit sloppy last night, its the minute management and rotations that just makes you scratch your head... too bad that LBJ likes Lue, he'll be here to stay for better or worse this season at least

LeBron wanted to play heavy minutes last night. In part because it was against kyrie and also because he wants to get his conditioning up. If it continues 20+ games into the season then there's cause for concern.

Hopefully that is the case and not like last season when they talked abouth controlling and monitoring LBJs minutes during offseason then throwing it out the window once the season started... that would be pretty bad specially now that players are not allowed to sitout games without a legit injury

Definitely. If LeBron is still playing 40+ minutes in December then I'm going to be worried. With our pieces he should be in the 32-34 minute range once everything settled down.

The reality is, Wade would be better running the second unit.
There needs to be a shooter in there with Rose.
Not sure I'd leave Love at the 5 either .

Rose is just a place holder till IT comes back in a few months. He’ll have plenty of shooters to play with on the second unit. I don’t see lue changing the starting unit until IT is back. IT and wade should be an good backcourt.

I do..that lineup isn't set in stone..because I can see a lot of bumps down the road with different teams.
And I'm not even thinking about IT until months from now.

I think the better Jeff Green plays the less LeBron plays.

If he can play consistent it would make things so much better.

I wouldn't count on that at all. He sucks and always has. The only time we can extract value out of him in my estimation is with LeBron on the court. You might be able to get something out of him with Crowder out there along with Isaiah, but I have my doubts. He's a really dumb player that makes awful decisions.

Is Cedi and Zizic going to be in Canton this year for the most part?

After the Milwaukee game on Friday night, which should be a good competitive game, we have 5 of 6 absolute dogs up next: ORL, CHI, BKN, NOP, NYK, IND

CHI especially. They were already designed to tank but now with Mirotic, Porter, Dunn, and Lavine all out, some of the guys getting minutes are going to make you scratch your head and say "who?"

Besides a few games against MIL and WAS, the next big game to use as a roadmarker is game 12, in HOU against the Rockets. Looking forward to that one.

$15 says we still lose that game.

Send me your PayPal or Venmo info by private message I will most gladly take you up on that.

If the Bulls win, I will pay you out $15 or pay $30 to a charity of your choice. Your decision on which option.
