The mystery deal discussed lol (take your wild guesses)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anyone else think that it could be a Kaman and Butler/Wallace trade? That would be sick. I'd throw AV to LA or Washington/Charlotte for those two guys.

Yeah, it's almost inevitable.

As much as I'd love to bring in Kaman, Caron, or Wallace... I'm not holding my breath. I have a feeling Ferry will only make a move that is 1. possible 2. puts us over the top 3. won't hurt chemistry.

He will be looking at all options, and if Wally/AV is all we need for Caron and Kaman, I really doubt we'd hesitate to do it.

Well I don't see it as that impossible. We already know Wallace is on the block, and Kaman has been on/off all season long. This fits the deal as they would all be good pieces to build around w/wo Bron.

btw anyone know what is g-force percentage off jumpshots??

Wallace
41%

Salmons
44%

VC
51% (only 39% assisted)

J-Rich
44% off to a slow start, last season 50% (69% assisted)

Basically, Vince is the best shooter off the dribble by far.

OK, according to RealGM, the Knicks could try to make a run at Boozer this summer. This is only possible if they can trade Curry for contracts expiring this summer.

I REALLY, truly think that if Knicks decide to move Curry (talks won't start until Curry returns from injury) we can get in on a three way. Bobcats badly want to move G-Wall, and they need a center to complement Okafor and they've expressed interest in Curry. G-Wall for Curry straight up can't work because Knicks don't want his contract. Now we have some options...

-Do a three way deal centered around a Wally to NY, Curry to CHA, and G-Wall to CLE deal and hope the Knicks do not sign a star FA this offseason
-Do NOT feed the Knicks further, take no risk and just try to work on our own trade

i dont think g-force will be comfortable playing the 2guard...it just don't suit his game and im afraid he may turn out similar to the hughes situation

Sorry for the double post BUT I think this could be the trade!

REDD/VILLA for AV/Wally

Villa 24, Redd's like 26 or 27 I think. I don't think I'm overexaggerating, I remember Villanueva was available in the offseason and weren't the Cavs interested? Luc Mbah a Moute is playing amazing at Villa's spot, rebounding and defending great. The team right now is Bogut/Luc/RJ/Redd/Ridnour and I really think they could be rebuilding in the way that they want their big 2 to be RJ/Bogut. I mean Redd hasn't played a game so who knows how it might work out...Villa's on bench even though he's healthy. Holy shit...what if this is it?!?

Bucks would get immediate salary relief and try to sign some more talent to complement Bogut/RJ/Sessions/Luc and give more time to Joe Alexander.

We have Z-Ben-Bron-Redd-Mo and Villa off the bench. Basically we are replacing AV with Villa, moving Delonte to the bench and putting Redd at the SG spot. I love AV, but at this point Ferry might be researching if Redd would fit in (him/Mo didn't work out) and whether AV will resign. Yes!

It has been mentioned... but don't go crazy.

First, Redd is 29 years old and doesn't play defense. Second, AV fits into our system so well and he is very valuable, so to replace with someone that can't play center off the bench is dangerous to our big man rotation. Finally, there's the fact that Mo/Redd never worked in Milwaukee.

It's realistic, but I don't think Ferry would want this, or at least he shouldn't. I don't think Redd should be one of our options unless we also get a wing defender.

Be careful about using the assisted/unassisted # as a way to measure effectiveness/fit. On one hand, you can say VC gets his own points. On the other hand you can say VC creates his own shots and spends a lot of time with the ball in his hands, which can be disruptive to the flow of an offense.

Yeah that's why I think Ferry is researching this thoroughly before making any moves. Like W&G said, don't worry about this because there's gonna be so many more proposals. I think trade talk will heat up GREATLY on December 5th.

That's very easy to check though, he played with Kidd and Jefferson, last season he shot 46% and 54% assisted, two seasons ago he shot 46% with 59% of them being assisted. Carter can do it as a spot up shooter, or as a creator.

At this point, J-Rich or VC, either one would be amazing to have.

If we could somehow get Caron Butler.......that would be AMAZING! Im pretty sure hes a solid defender but........I highly doubt they would trade him here unless he wants to be traded. VC is by far the most realistic option......I think he could push us over the top with a solid post player to top it off.......but the only thing I question is if the chemistry would work out........

From what Wizards fans say, Jamison is probably available. He is not great defensively but he is a guy who imo would work hard on that end. He seems like a good guy and i think he would buy into our system. BUT!!! The guy is 32 now and has 4 years left on his current deal. We would have him until he is 36yrs old. He is playing really well but i don't know if i would take the risk. Players at that age could start declining really quickly.

I would atleast ask about Butler if i'm Ferry. Maybe offer something like AV/Wally/2009 first for Butler/Thomas.

I wouldn't touch Jamison. He has to be one of the least desirable contracts in the league.
