The mystery deal discussed lol (take your wild guesses)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
good debate, way to back up your position with facts. I am not sure they are ready to give up on the season yet. They are still trying to sell tickets.
Wally sells tickets :)

it would be GREAT if ferry can someone get AMARE since he is unhappy...i know it is almost impossible but who knows

Amare is probably 5% chance of happening, although if he wanted to win a championship, the Cavs would be a great location for him to go to.

More realistically, Stephen Jackson is very possible, he has 5 years left on his contract, Warriors are probably not even going to touch the playoffs this season but it's too early to call yet.

If by February Warriors have a bad losing record, I could see Snow for Jackson straight up happening, then Wally Szczerbiak's contract(around 14m/yr, 1 year left) can bring in something huge around all-star level.

I am excited to know what the Wally sweepstakes will bring!

edit:

Not to mention Stephen Jackson has a great relationship with Mike Brown!

No way do I bite on Jackson. He's 30 years old, and is signed for five more years. Not only will he hurt our 2010 cap, he'll also only probably have 3 good years left in him; tops.

Stephen Jackson was at the top of my list (played with Coach Brown and loved by his family; good defender; can score on his own or hit the open 3; getting older so would want a title; currently plays for a crap team), but since he's signed that extension he shouldn't even be discussed. Real shame, would've loved him.

My list is JRich, Redd, Wallace. JRich is probably very high on Ferry's wish list and probably could be had very cheap late in the trading deadline.

Since it will most likely be off the wall. Chandler:gap:

I don't think we have a chance to pry Amare from Phoenix, but if he were to get traded, I do think the Cavs would be the best fit. My only beef with this would be that it would almost certainly cost us JJ.

I would give up jj if it landed us Amare in a heartbeat. Ofcourse, that is not going to happen. I would give them both Jj, AV, and 2 first round picks, still wouldnt happen.

I was watching the Celtics game last night, although Portland was getting whooped i liked what i saw from Pryzbilla. He is a really solid center........

And Outlaw would look so good coming off our bench. Imagine him with the 2nd unit, he would be that go to guy. Then we could have a line up like Mo,West, Bron, Outlaw and AV out there at times. That would be a sick, high energy line up.......

I would trade Wally/Pavs for Outlaw/Lafrentz. I think Outlaw alone off the bench can make a huge impact. Then you really don't even play Lafrentz, buy him out or something. His contract will come off the books after this season anyways.

And why would portland do this? Lafrentz and Wally are both expiring.. so essentially it's pavs for outlaw. Portland easily declines.

Yeah, Travis Outlaw is a very good player. He could do a little bit of everything. Has a good midrange game, can attack the basket, is a good defender and is even spacing out the floor this year with his 3 point shooting.

I would love for him to guard Ray Allen and vice versa, he would abuse ray because he's so much longer and agile. We would be at an advantage every night with Outlaw if he was our SG. The best perimeter player always guards lebron so Outlaw would do good especially him being like 6-9.

I don't think we can pull of the trade though, the Trailblazers are looking for veterans with a good deal that way they can add much needed experience to their team while not giving up cap flexibility for the future.

The only players we have that are solid veterans and that don't have an atrocious contract are well NOBODY! LOL

We could get him if it was a three team deal.

The trailblazers are interested in Mike Conley while Memphis needs shooters. We can give up Wally to memphis while conley goes to the trailblazers and we get outlaw. OFCOURSE a couple more pieces will have to be added in such as draft picks, etc... But basically it could be done if it were a three team trade.

Outlaw's contract is also very good. He expires in 2010 and is getting paid like only 4 million per year. Not bad at all.

We need players like Outlaw to convince lebron to stay. He's young and would be a good piece to contend for a title this year and multiple years as well.

Good point but Wally can actually contribute, Lafrentz does nothing for them. He doesn't even play. The Blazers will be players in the free agent market next offseason. So don't know if they want to bring in any extra salary anyways. Wally gives them a veteran who can knock down outside shots and his contract doesn't affect their offseason and at the very least Pavs can be a good perimeter defender for them off the bench and his shot actually has been looking good. But still don't know if that deal can get done, but it does bring them something imo.

Yeah, because Wally and Pavs will see tons of time behind Roy/Fernandez/Webster/Batum
