I'm a regular poster on Spurstalk.com (I'm not even a Spurs fan). I think it's a great forum for a couple reasons- mainly that it is uncensored. It's not even much of a problem, they just ask you not to curse unless you have to. It has really turned into a all around NBA board and not just a Spurs board as there are fans from just about every NBA market that post on there regularly.
I am new to RCF, and the only main problems I have with it (which are minor because I like the site) is it seems to cluttered. I don't see why there has to be a "Cavs Forum" a "Gameday Forum" a "video" so on and so forth. Part of the problem with posting here is that you don't know where you should post it as there are 15 different forums. I mention that other site because they have things pretty organized- a Spurs forums for all spurstalk including game threads, trade ideas, and announcements. A NBA forum which has fans from all over the NBA welcome to post. A MLB, NFL, and College Section as well as a Political and General forum.
Most of the problems with these forums are that everyone is scared of trolls, or being trolled. Over there, they just let trolls do their thing and it's not a problem since the majority of the people ignore them. Doing this allows fans from all different fan bases to post. I think sometimes worry too much about trolls. I feel like even though I'm a Cavs fan I'll be banned from here about talking bad about the Cavs.
I don't know if any of this is a suggestion, but I think you have a great forum but it could use a little tidying up. I kind of also wish more people from other teams were allowed in and welcomed like other boards I post at
they also have a sportsbook and arcade to play around with when you are bored
