2010 Indians Game Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LaPorta goes yard! 3 run Bomb. Looks like the lightbulb finally went on when he got demoted earlier in the year as he's been on a tear ever since. This is the kind of middle of the order power the Indians envisioned when they made the CC trade 2 years ago

OOOOOH man !

I was a negative nancy on LaPorta but his play since being called back is legit, and I hope he continues to roll in the confidence.

Interesting, LaPorta.

Very interesting.

What time did the plane land last weekend that was in time for the 4 games with Toronto, and had all the replacement players on it?

Santana OBP is ridiculous. He would be leading the majors by a wide margin if he had enough official at bats.

Going for a five game winning streak and four game sweep? Laporta with homers in three straight games?

How dare the Indians try and upstage LeBron's free agency summit like this!

Also helps the Jays only source of runs comes from homers, and we threw out 4 guys who throw a sinker as their main pitch.

10 games left until the all star break. What if we win the next 10 and have a 15 game win streak at the break?

World Series !!!

Masterson also had a great outing.

Some guys are starting to take a turn for the better. Hopefully this keeps up.

Its time to play the music from MAJOR LEAGUE, when the indians start going on a big winning streak to face the yankees.

Also another part from the movie... We're contenders now :chuckles:

You know, being 11 1/2 games back is not a ton of games. Let's say we chop off just three games from that before the all star break. It leaves us 8 1/2 games back. Is it unrealistic to believe we can catch the top in a crap division? It's very possible these young kids will continue to get better and better.

We will probably know a lot in the next ten. At Texas and at Tampa Bay for the final seven games. That's a TOUGH schedule.

You're joking, right??

These next ten are going to be tough, no doubt about it. Luckily the A's blow ass on the road (14-25), so the Tribe should take at least 2 games in that series. I can't see them winning more than one in Texas, they're a very good home team. And lastly, even though the Rays are a good team, I'd rather play them in Tampa (20-19 home, 25-13 road). Unfortunately, they host the Rays later in the month. Regardless, I could see them splitting that series down in Florida. In my mind...

Best case scenario: 6-4.

Likely scenario: 5-5.
