Well, some would say he completely disappeared from some games and didn't dominate at any level.

Yes. But he has an NBA player contract, counts against the salary cap, and is officially on the Cavaliers roster even if his $$$ are not guaranteed. There are others on the summer team that just have summer contracts, don't count against the salary cap, and are not on the Cavs roster.

You lost me...the article said he is one of five non-roster invitee's...do we know for certain he is under contract and on roster?

Aside from having nothing to do with this thread, there's no lawsuit here. They either licensed the song, or its a soundalike. Happens all the time. Can't copyright rhythm, or chords. Only melody and lyrics.

Thoughts on the Summer League game on NBA TV:

Kanter looks so awkward out there. He isn't athletic. He doesn't seem to try on the defensive end (not that he could get back to protect the basket if he wanted to because he is so slow). He is currently 2/4 from the field with 4 points and 4 boards after one quarter, so not bad line but just looks so weird out there

Edit: Doesn't do a thing off the ball on defense. Happy he isn't here
