2012 NFL Free Agency Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Grossi reporting the steelers have a meeting set up with peyton Hillis at 4pm today.

Once I can quote the source, I'll link it, but Hillis is rumored to be meeting with Pittsburgh at 4 today. :chuckles: there is not once chance in hell that the Rooney's give him what he wants, and if he visits Pittsburgh and wants to come back to Cleveland, the fan base won't accept him. Good as gone, and good riddance.

Exactly. No team is going to give Hillis big money. None. Either he can come back to Cleveland with his tail between his legs for an incentive-laden contract or he can go play for magic beans with some other team.

Unconfirmed sources, but I read else where that Steinbach was cut. Boom goes the dynamite.

Not to hijack this thread anymore, but I couldn't see through this one at all...

Hey, bigjmac0815 told me i could draft for him because he was leaving this site.

I love how his name before was big j Mac with an 08 in it, and now his new one is JMcCurry08. Like no one would notice that J-Mac is a nickname of J McCurry. At least pick something with a totally different name.

RT @RuiterWrongFAN: Cross Mario Manningham off the wish list - told http://Cleveland.com today not interested in Browns; said Cleve not a destination for FAs*

I've had this new name for 2 weeks and no one noticed

it seems all this organization has been able to accomplish the past two years is make cleveland a less attractive place for player to come and play football then before. Really thats a credit to their hard work and dedication, I didn't think it could be done honestly. Kidding aside a guy like Mario Manningham would have been nice but he just doesn't seem all there. Yea he could be right about people not wanting to come to cleveland but you don't go on a Cleveland interview and express how you feel about a particular organization or city like that. However I don't blame him in the least for not wanting to come here. Hell if I were a receiver the Browns would be far down my list of preferred destinations.
