So, What about the concept of us trading our 2nd 1st round pick for Sam Bradford? Then we take best available position at 4.

1st- Richardson or Blackmon, Bradford. We would have a whole new offense with those guys. I would do it as long as we keep that 1.04.

does anyone have any idea how extremely retarded it would be for the packers to franchise flynn? and want to know why its retarded... because he would actually sign the god damn offer.


most of the time when you franchise tag a player the player doesnt actually sign the offer because they want more money, or dont want to play for that team anymore, or both. Thus his original team is then able to trade him to team X for a couple of draft picks, and team X is able to work out a contract extension. in this case flynn would sign that offer immediately at that point making it extremely difficult to trade him, the least of which is dealing with the cap.

FWIW, Schefter just said that Flynn won't be franchised. Or at least that is his opinion.
