Can someone that has seen Ottto Porter tell us what you think his potential is? (Hope the mods move this to the main board after the summer league10

I have seen only a couple of games of Porter so I'm not in a position to comment very much on him, but I can say he intrigues me right now. He has great height and length for a 3 at 6'9 and from the little I've seen, it is obvious that he is comfortable moving without the ball and finishing at the rim and in space. I did not really see a whole lot of ball skills or shooting in and around the arc, but he is active and moves well in the flow of an offense. He looks energetic on defense, but the fact that he looks like the SF version of John Henson means he needs to get a fair bit stronger to handle bulkier wings. He is a guy that could definitely shoot up into the lottery if he has a good sophomore season though, I like that you brought him up.

Let's hope we get anther lotto pick for next season and end up with the #1. A lot of teams around us got better. Toronto, Golden State, New Orleans, and so on. We might have a shot at the title.

None of those teams are better than us if we get Bynum, and I'm not convinced that Toronto is without Bynum.

Has Andrew Wiggins grown and changed positions? I'm pretty sure he's still a 6'7" SF. Russell was never the tallest guy for his position, but he's absolutely a center. Not sure I get the comparisons (not blaming you).

Do you think Zeller could play stretch 4 on offense and Nerlens Noel just guards the quicker big on defense? I think Noel and TZeller compliment each other.

One other possibility is drafting Cody and putting Cody or Tyler at the 4, probably Cody. I don't think it would work well as their games dont compliment each other (they are basically the same player) Although it would be cool and get us more national coverage than the last two years combined :chuckles:

I'm hoping we can have a somewhat successful season so that we can fall within 8-15. I'd love to nab this SF: DraftExpress NBA Draft Prospect Profile: Adonis Thomas, Stats, Comparisons, and Outlook

Terrific defender and spot up shooter. Isn't selfish at all from what I saw from high school footage. Kyrie could create so many opportunities not only for him as a spot up shooter, but in the post as well. He has a decent post game.

Doesn't appear he'd be a lotto pick at this point but a guy I'd like later in the first round with our MIA/LA pick is McDermott from Creighton. He's a very good catch and shoot guy and could be a good fit at SF in our offense. The only question is his ability to defend, but even if he's a sub-par defender he could still play the role Peja did with CP3 in NO.

I think we found our Center for the future.

Looks like a bust to me when he gets to the NBA. Not to mention SF is our biggest need at this point especially with the Bynum talks.

If you were talking about Adonis, people have high expectations for him in his Sophomore season. He's supposed to carry their offense now after some of their scorers left in this year's draft.

2013 Mock Draft | NBADraft.net

Here's a VERY early mock, which has him going 13th to the Suns. I never follow mock drafts (mainly because you don't know who is going where after number 1), but they still give you a good idea of what range you can expect each player to be in.

I've been mentioning this guy for two years now. I was REALLY hoping for him to come out last year--he probably could've been had around where we got Zeller. Now, he's gonna be a Lottery pick easily. Right up there with Zeller, Noel, Adams, Austin, etc. He's a BIG part of what makes 2013, "The Year of the Center."

Has LeBryan Nash gathered anyone else's interest?
