2014 MOCK DRAFTS: Where & Who the Browns Are Picking

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That's my bad, it does appear Tate missed Shanny by a year in Houston.

That said, as MGMT pointed out, definitely familiar with the system.

Plus he'd come in and instantly be the feature back.

Matt Miller also has Teddy Bridgewater as his top player in the draft. Kid might not even be a 1st round pick anymore.....

Mock draft is completely different than player ratings...

Would hang myself from a tree.

Would hang myself from a tree.

You're too tough of a guy, apparently. :chuckles: The only thing it would accomplish is to fray some rope or snap a tree limb. You'd walk away.

True. Might have to hire someone to shoot me six times if we take a WR at #4 and Derek freaking Carr.

Yes, I'm allowed to make that joke.

Carr's impressed me. I don't really get all the hate circling him.

I don't think it would happen, but if Bortles does a Brady Quinn slide down to the mid first round, I would definitely be interested in packaging #26, Indy's 4th and a 2nd or 3rd next year OR #26 and #83 this year to leap ahead of Arizona to get him.

Watkins and Bortles while keeping #36 and #71 could be an amazing start of the draft.

Someone remind me why we're taking a receiver a 4 again in the deepest receiver draft in years when we have a guy who led the league in receiving yardage last year.

It doesn't have to be Watkins at 4. I would rather have one of Mack or Clowney drop to 4. If both were gone and Watkins were still there, trade the #4 to TB for the #7, #69 and a 3rd in 2015 or to ATL for #6, #68 and a 3rd in 2015 for them to get the OT they want and leapfrog OAK. This all depends on what the Browns draft board and QB rankings really look like.

If one or two QB's are taken by #4, it would increase the chance of a small trade down if we had multiple players graded equally and only dropped down 2 or 3 spots.

I listen to a lot sports radio down here and all the guys are saying the front office want more picks. I don't know if they are a trade up candidate. Seems like they may be looking to trade down if anything.

But I like the idea should things fall a certain way.

10 picks isnt enough? Eh....
