2015-2016 Around the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Honestly the Warriors are playing some bad basketball right now. They just had the best shooting half from 3 ever, so it doesn't matter. Were they to have shot normal (and by normal I mean THEIR normal), they'd probably be losing this game.

when you guys see how Davis got injured just remember that they called a foul on him instead of the guy targeting him

Davis being carried off the floor. Talk about injury prone...

With all the talk about Kawhi's defense over the past few years, I think everyone forgot about how good Paul George is on that end.

I love George's game. It's awesome to see him playing even better than he was prior to his injury.
i've been one of pg's biggest supporters for years, but i'm not sure what you'd really expect? he suffered a severe compound fracture in his leg and essentially missed an entire season. on top of that, they basically turned over the entire roster from the last time he led an elite pacers team. it doesn't seem far-fetched for people to be a little unsure of how he'd be post-injury on an entirely new team.

Didn't watch the game but checked the box. John Wall has been playing like ass all season.

Priceftw proved Delly was better than Wall in the Delly thread lol

The Wizards aren't going to make the playoffs. I said that like in the first week (even though I picked them in the prediction thread to get the 8th seed) and I'm sure of it now. Just looking at that roster....they don't have another gear. That roster isn't better than Orlando or Boston or even New York. It's a really bad roster with two good players on it.

Was an aging Paul Pierce really the difference between almost making the ECF, and missing the playoffs entirely?

What's up with the Pacers? They are on a rampage. They've blown out 4 teams in a row, and are only 2 games back of us.

Poor Toronto Raptors. It should really affect their self-esteem when each time they beat someone, that opponent either has an epic locker room meltdown (Clippers) or a player-only meeting (Cavs). Says a lot about how other teams rate them :)

Get ready for another closed-door meeting, after the Wiz came unglued against them tonight...

It's all the fringe players. Andre Miller, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Seraphin were all better than the guys they've replaced them with, and they weren't great. That, and Nene's decline has been rapid. He's a terrible basketball player right now. He was somewhat useful last year.

But Otto Porter has shown considerable improvement, and Ramon Sessions seems like a fine replacement for an 80-year-old Andre Miller.

Last year, Wall was playing as a Top-5 player calibre level. This year, it hasn't been the same. They have good talented players but overall the roster ain't that good IMO, in terms of depth and also Randy Wittman is an average coach.
