2015-2016 Schedule Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm eyeing the February 05 - February 18 5-game home stand to return to Cleveland again. Now that the novelty and euphoria surrounding making it to the Q and to Cleveland for the first time has been fulfilled, this time I want to make a Cleveland-only trip and engage in a number of different things within the city. We play the Celtics, Pelicans, Kings, Lakers and Bulls during the stand and I'd be super excited to see games against the Lakers, Bulls and Celtics in particular.

Simmy, if you decide to do that, shoot me a PM. If you need tickets to any of those games, I'm happy to sell you mine at face value. I have 4 seats in the center loudville section (in-between the 3 point lines), row 6.

In terms of uppers, they are about as good as you can do for seats in the upper level. Centered right on the new scoreboard and behind the benches.

Just wanted to throw it out as an option if you didn't want to spend the money to sit lowers each game.

Awesome man, thank you for your generosity! I very well may take you up on that offer if it all goes through and I can arrange time off work. I think regardless, my next experience will be in Loudville - being almost right on the floor was absolutely awe-inspiring from a personal viewing perspective but there was no passion or atmosphere beside the suits. I need to be right in the thick of the vocal fans next time, I think.

December 28th in Phoenix. Anyone else going? I'll be there. Piss drunk and embarrassing my family.
Just moved to Maricopa, I will definitely get tix to that game.

Cavs fans continue to get screwed with less weekend games, many more Monday/Tuesday games and, if memory serves me correct, only one Miami home game. This reminds me of the Cavs playoff games, where we tended to play games on Mondays, Tuesdays while other teams got the weekend playoff games. What gives?

Teams in the eastern conference draw more national viewership during the hours the games are normally played.

For the Clippers, for example, to play at home, that game is airing at 10:30 as the second of a double header almost guaranteed. On a Friday or Saturday, ESPN/TnT is more likely to get viewers from the EST timezone to watch that game.

8 o'clock EST on a Monday makes those teams most viewable to all markets while still being able to optimize the rest of the tv schedule.

Does anyone know if the Cavs have a home game on Saturday night before a Sunday Browns game?

Are you trying to forecast how much alcohol you need to continuously drink from Saturday night through the Brown's game Sunday afternoon?

Yes.

The Browns final game of the season is at home 1/3/16 vs. Steelers (1pm). The Cavs play the day before (1/2/16 - 7:30pm) vs. Orlando @ The Q.

The next closest would be Cavs @ The Q vs Nets 11/28 (7:30pm) and Browns @ Home on MNF vs. Ravens 11/30 - 8:30pm
