Crazy to think that one female coed could change the course of college football.Inside the rise and fall of Urban Meyer's Florida Gators

1) The offense was going to struggle with a new coordinator.
2) I think this team is still a bit hungover from being the champions. I think they figure they can show up against lesser teams and win.
3) It is time to pick a QB and move forward with him. JT didn't have to deal with this competition last year. He struggled quite a bit early in the year but Urban didn't rush to bench him or anything. We need to pick a guy and roll with him. Having two QBs is sorta like having zero.
4) I think the skill guys are struggling a bit with the different QBs given that they play pretty different styles. This isn't like Florida using a young Tebow in goal line situations or Oklahoma throwing in Blake Bell. Meyer is having both guys play a decent amount and that hurts, imo.
5) Our new OC has enough on his plate trying to call the right plays for one QB. Why make his job harder with calling plays for two?
6) Get back to the basics. The defense is great.
Probably a little immature, but Meyer is handling this whole thing incredibly poorly. He named Cardale the starter, but he has essentially had to look over his shoulder after any bad play to see if he's getting pulled.EDIT: Did people see this? Super immature by Cardale. Especially when JT has been so gracious after Cardale was announced as the #1. Hopefully it is an inside joke and nobody cares. Even if JT is announced as the new #1, Cardale is still a super important guy to have on this team.

Oh I totally agree. I've said in pretty much every post regarding the QB competition that I think Cardale is clearly the more talented QB. I think Meyer has frankly been unfair to both QBs. And additionally, JT is better for the system we are running. I have no idea why the play action and long passes we were using to end the season last year have disappeared from the playbook. Meyer wants to have his hand in both pots, but, that is more of a problem than people are giving it credit for. Neither QB can get in rhythm and our offense is not running to its fullest potential.Probably a little immature, but Meyer is handling this whole thing incredibly poorly.
