More like Pettine and Farmer know they are screwed, have officially said 'fuck it' and they are giving the fans what they wanted.

Frankly this is useless as it only takes away targets from Barnidge. If he can at least block he is better than Bowe though.

You are right about them not caring about the resale value but if no one shows up for the game they lose alot of money on concessions and the other sales inside the stadium. The resale market will reflect how many people that will show up, if tickets are going for so little many will go unsold. People will be passing up free tickets from friends too.
