Yeah I understand that, im not worried at all, the best isn't even out there, but this is Gilbert's time to show hard work and dedication at keeping his job, or winning the staff over, and he's just a fail.

Pet can not be happy.

He's either going to be humbled and get better, or he's just not mentally cut out for this level. I still think there is a very small chance that he gets cut this year, but he's clearly going to be a rotation guy at best. That is also why he has to be used as a KR/PR, so he provides more value to the team and justifies keeping him around instead of a special teams guy.

I didn't see #Browns CB Justin Gilbert break up a pass. I think he gave up a catch every time he was targeted. Never seen such a rough day.

So bad... I am starting to wonder whether Gilbert was a Pettine pick or not.

Some draft "experts" scouted Gilbert as a player who avoids contact.. Pett likes guys to press off the line.. I remember everyone talking about supreme athleticism and long arms.

Who's the nickel as of now? Per reports from last season, Browns really loved what K'Waun gave them.
 
These Gilbert reports simply can't be true....

He's better in press man than he is off the line, where he's basically getting killed.

Can't be one dimensional like that and get by in this league.
