That would honestly just be golden for USC. They want to fire him already anyway and that gives them a really, really handy excuse to do it.
If there are two programs that should never, ever struggle for more than one season at a time to contend for their conference title it's USC and Texas. They are, by far, the premier programs in the two best high school football states in the country (along with the state of Florida, but the state of Florida has three prominent football programs, so more competition). It's incredible to me when people go to those two jobs and fail.
