2015 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have no idea what Jacksonville St brings to the table (maybe they are a 2007 App State type team that's actually good? Idk), but you don't understand how hilariously abysmal some offenses in the SEC are.

We'll just have to wait and see. If Auburn gives up 438 YPG and/or 45 PPG in SEC play, I'll gladly eat crow.

I'm not saying they're going to give that up on average...I'm saying the same shit that happened to them last year is going to happen to them again this year, which is why I was questioning their hype in the 1st place...their defensive talent is still shitty, a DC isn't going to change that...that defense is going to cost them a game or 2 where their offense plays well, just like last year...which is why I asked that just the addition of Will Muschamp really makes them a title contender in the eyes of AP voters to begin with...it's ridiculous.

I think it's too early to read into any given performance. It's like Groundhog Day every week when a good team struggles. Sometimes the coaches have a bad game plan, sometimes the kids party too hard or don't really focus on their preparation, the list goes on.

The beauty of it is with a 4 team playoff, if you go undefeated in a power 5 conference, you are in. So f auburn and their struggles, if they struggle to an undefeated season, they are in.

I am happy for MSU beating Oregon, who really gets the hype train treatment, prob more so than any other team. OSU MSU is waaaaaaay out there, but I hope it sets up to be a heavyweight battle. You know MSU D will improve and our O should too by that point. That game could be special.

There's no way this idiot has a job next year, right?

Can't blame him, right? His schedule is...so hard....and stuff.

He'll have to go back to the B1G to run away from the competition in the SEC like Meyer did...or something like that.

Speaking of B1G, Bowling Green's offense might end up being top ten in the country. They put up over 700 yards against Maryland. Matt Johnson leads the country by 130 yards after two weeks. Roger Lewis is the best wide receiver in the MAC, and it really isn't close. Sean Davis is a corner that will get drafted, and Roger Lewis hung 15 for 200 on him like it was nothing.

They play Memphis and Purdue before coasting to what will probably be another trip to Detroit.

Memphis can absolutely beat BG.

Wonder what the over will be in that game.

I wish I hadn't graduated. Paxton Lynch vs Matt Johnson would be incredible to watch.

Really think they go 2-2 in non-conference against Tenn, Maryland, Memphis, and Purdue.

Their pre-season O/U on wins was 5.5

Looks like they'll get that number easily.

Pax Lynch is a legit NFL QB.

Matt Johnson has elite downfield accuracy for a college QB.

Roger Lewis is the best receiver in college football that no one will ever talk about.

Nebraska with a crazy comeback.

Wow.

Was 33-10.

Now 33-33.

He clearly has already made an impact. The defense is noticeably better than it was last year. And will only continue to get better in the future.

Meanwhile, the offense has regressed, grossly.

I think it is hilarious that you think Muschamp & the defense is what is keeping them from being a top 10 team.

45 and 485 yards against that D today...I'm telling you, the talent level on that defense is awful...whole team is a dumpster fire. Still don't get the preseason Muschamp hype.

Touche...whole team is garbage. Offense and defense. Yikes.

Robert Nkemdiche (the 300lb one) will absolutely be an NFL stud. Damn, between him and Bosa there will be some great defensive NFL prospects this year.
