That doesn't strike me as a great deal for the Titans.

No doubt, Tennessee will ask for more. Browns, if they're smart, will resist...and eventually settle on maybe a 2nd or 3rd somewhere down the line in addition to 12/19 this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are fishing for a better deal. Everyone knows of Farmer's supposed love of Mariota, so if you're looking for better offers from teams that also want Mariota then this is the info your feed to a reporter.

Don't overthink this. If you love Mariota, if you're convinced, you make a reasonable trade up to get him. If you are looking to draft him out of desperation? It's a poor move.

They superseded the scouting and their insight last year with Manziel. Don't make that mistake twice.
