2019 Browns Off Season/Roster Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
As a player, he will always be a Brown, as an executive, he will always be a Raven. Funny thing is, he is HOF worthy at both jobs.

I like Ozzie, a great receiver for us, and he did a fine job for the Ravens, but HOF worthy at both......no way. There are only about 25 non player, non coaches in the Hall and they are almost all owners who have had an impact on the entire league. Ozzie just doesn't have the credentials. He worked for a good team and kept them good. He didn't transform anything or change the game, he just did a very good job. Not HOF calibre in my book.
Very deserving as a player enshrinee, Ozzie deserves no negativity for going to Baltimore.

First African American NFL GM.

He is and should be in the HOF for a GM.

This article calls Newsome the most important executive of his generation. 2 super bowls based 100% off the defense he built. Only ones since the 90's ahead of him are probably Jerry Jones, already in and obviously Belicheck, who will get in for his coaching duties.

I think the color barrier is a nice cherry on top, but he built a team that won 2 Super Bowls in 20 years with 2 different qb's and one of the most dominate defenses of all time. They were perennial playoff team under Ozzie too.

Basically he is in because of his credentials,. the fact he is black just makes it that more awesome.

I wasn't the biggest Freddie fan, but after watching all his interviews, I see why he got the job. It's something about Freddie. I love his attitude and how he handle things with the media. I believe the players will trust Freddie 100% because he LISTENS. That's what leaders do!

After really thinking about it. He was thrown into a position where he had limited experience and thrived. He's progressive. I'm still reserved because of his lack of experience, but I like all the people he's surrounded himself with.

I'm ready for OTAS/Minicamp and the season.

LETS GO BROWNS.

What does this even mean? Is Jim Rome trying to invent slang to still be relevant to anything?

I have a source on this.

Apparently Kitchens kept going up to the appetizer table and ate five mini Crab cakes and a lot of cheese dip.

While a rival AFC Coach was speaking, Freddie lifted his butt cheek up for maximum volume and ripped a series of beefy farts to interrupt his speech. @Deezus

Once he was done, he chuckled and said “If you can’t take the cheese, get out of the Kitchens.”

Glad someone finally woke up from their slumber.
