2019 Cavs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yogi plays like an undersized SG more so then a PG him and Clarkson wouldn't really gel in the backcourt. I said I wasn't sure he would fit. I just like his game so I wouldn't mind him on the team.

At Yogi’s size, one had better be able to play the point. He’s basically a pint-sized version of Jordan Clarkson.

Better shooter. He can play the point hes better off ball though. Not as stupid as Clarkson either .

I think that's why Yogi and his agent backed out of the Dallas deal. Yogi needs to be playing point guard and develop that aspects of his game to have long term success in the NBA. Dallas promised him the backup SG spot.

I also think Clarkson's long term success is having him play SG. He just doesn't have the court vision to be a point guard. With his size and playing style, taking the ball out of his hands and asking him to find more effective ways of playing at SG will help him become a better player.

He was a strong tank commander for the Mavericks as he was 4th in minutes with 27.8 mpg but was garbage elsewhere (outside top 10 in multiple advanced stats such as TS% and PER). Sign him up for 2 season with a team option in the 2nd.

With Sexton already there, not sure this makes sense for him personally unless Hill is moved ASAP and he’s promised a ton of minutes.

I hate this time of the year. I cannot wait to watch these young guys play.

This. Always throws me just how long there is between the Summer League and the real stuff starting. Whets the appetite. Push the Summer league(s) back a few weeks NBA.

I think it's better keeping the games earlier in the summer so that teams can know where they stand with new draft picks as they're making trades and other moves for their training camp roster.
