Josh Dobbs will be the starter in ARZ

I’ve mentioned this in the past but no matter where Josh Dobbs goes I will always be a fan. My daughter also has Alopecia and for her to see other athletes like her has been a huge boost of confidence for her. Best of luck to him as the starter.

I see a lot of people are jumping in on celebrating York's exit, but this really is unfortunate. The local media were falling all over themselves to talk about York as a weapon this time last year:

York is the highest-drafted kicker in the NFL since 2016.

It's pretty unheard of to give that award to a kicking game specialist. York's fall into a serious mental block reminds me a lot of "Scottish Hammer" Jaime Gillian. Leg talent will get trumped by mental toughness on the shores of Lake Erie.

Everyone wishes he could have been God's gift to kicking and made Justin Tucker look like Zane Gonzalez.

But, that clearly didn't happen. We're all hopeful that the change in kicker means we score more points and win more games.

I don’t think anyone wanted York to fail

We just didn’t want York to fail the browns which appeared to be the glaringly obvious outcome. That’s the cause for celebration

I don't think York is particularly talented either. He cannot aim his kicks and, to be honest, I think he's all power but doesn't have a clue where it's going. There is a lot more to kicking than just having a strong leg.

Yeeeaah.

I can't lose now though. It's either the last thing they wore before they turned it around or it's the last thing I watched them play a full game in. Team just isn't worth the 3.5 hours a week.

Hopefully I see them scoring a lot on Redzone this week.
