I mentioned in the game thread that Thornhill will be the best free safety since ET. Teenage Randy loved Turner too, hell of a player who should have been a Browns legend if not for the Model mess.

This made me think of Eric Wright. I always had high hopes for him but always felt underwhelmed. Wasn’t it him who had an uncle who used to post on the OBR back in the day ?

I was a inside linebacker who wished he had the speed for safety, lol. Younger Lee's favorite players were linebackers and safeties. I wore #56 in highschool because of Chip Banks, although many thought it was because of another ok linebacker who played for the GIants at that time. lol

Wait for the double whammy when not only does York get cut, but Austin Watkins makes it onto the 53.

Maybe we just actually have a competent FO who understands these things.

Wow, I love that the front office doesn’t hesitate cutting draft picks. Cade had so much potential but when you can’t even make 50% of your field goal attempts in the preseason you’re going to get cut.

I definitely didn't see it happening... but then the preseason Chiefs game happened and sealed his fate, IMO.

When that time traveler came back in time and handed me a piece of paper saying the Browns would tradie for D. Hopkins this wasn't what I had in mind.
