We can invest more without getting a stud DT. If we could get a tier 1 DT and a tier 3 DT vs 3 tier 2 DT's I'd take the 3 DT's for depth and flexibility.

Dre'mont Jones might be the last tier 1 DT available but I don't know if everybody views him as a tier 1 DT either.

I'd take Tomlinson, Cox, and maybe Zach Allen on the EDGE and roll with that over Dre'mont Jones and tier 3 DT's.

I think Dre'Mont is a very good penetrating 3-tech.

I want a 1-tech. There probably isn't a tier-1 left.

If I'm the Browns, my #1 priority on the defensive line is Dalvin Tomlinson right now--not Dre'Mont Jones.

If you lock up Dalvin, then get me one of Rankins/Allen/Harris, I'm happy. That top-3 DT rotation with Dalvin, FA and Perrion is miles better than what we had last year.

Ride that rookie contract out, collect that comp pick when he leaves, and replace him with your 2025 1st. Has to be the move unless you can re-coup a 1st or a 2nd and replace him that way.
