The only true positive with Adams at this point is that he played in Green Bay so he’d know what to expect when it comes to the weather. If he’s not happy with the Raiders offense, I’m not sure how he’ll be happy with the Browns, especially if Watson isn’t healthy and playing like a top 10 QB.

If he’s out here catching passes from PJ Walker or DTR, he’s simply not going to get the ball more. I just can’t envision him getting more yardage and targets here than he’s currently getting in Las Vegas, especially with Cooper already here.

If there’s other reasons he’d want out of LV then that’s a different story, but I’m not buying involvement in the offense as a reason he’d be eager or happy to land in Cleveland.

I don't think just forcing the ball to him is the answer and his real issue is how the offense operates. This reminds me of how Hoyer was forcing the ball to Josh Gordon when he came back from suspension that one year.

and I think 2 FGs and TD that the defense gave up was because of the offense turnovers giving the other team less than 25 yds to score. thats impressive.

I don't think including DPJ in a trade package will get much in return. Sadly I think his trade value is at an all-time low, especially when you consider he is going to be a FA in the offseason. If I am trading a big name WR at the deadline, acquiring DPJ doesn't move the needle for me at all.

Which is why I advocated to trade DPJ during the off-season when his value was higher. There's just no way we could keep him with what it would cost and the dude hasn't progressed the way we hoped

Brad Stainbooty tweeted that there is an internal expectation inside Berea that Watson should return to practice at some point this week.

Media reporting is all over the place. Dudes are clueless. But I believe the Stain here. Sounds like we're giving NOTHING during press conferences but are thinking he could suit up this week.
I did believe Stainbooty because he had that entire fiasco during the summer with Greg Newsome and I was sure he's triple checking his sources now

Can't wait to hear the details of Deshaun's practice today and tomorrow but (barring a setback) strap up boyos we're about to see QB1 this Sunday!

Do we really think Adams is going to get the targets he wants here on a consistent basis? I don’t understand why we would think that’s possible until Watson creates a significant sample size of games similar to the Tennessee game before we start thinking he will make timely throws to open receivers consistently; I’m not saying whether he will or not — but his age and contract makes and Watson’s state make me reluctant as hell.

I don’t know man. Call me crazy but I almost feel like an additional plus full time started on the IDL creates increased likelihood for success for this team more than a big name wide receiver l but that’s just me.
