Who Goes Second Overall to Houston?

Boggles my mind why the Texans gave up on their own 2024 pick to get a defensive player. That type of package is just never worth it for a defender, and it could mean not picking up a future franchise QB (or king's ransom).

This seems like a lot of mental gymnastics for what amounts to a near a minimal monetary difference, no?

Last year's 2nd overall pick got $35,713,386 and the 3rd overall pick got $34,657,513.
Yeah, but why not min/max it if you have the opportunity? Ya know? Just because it's a marginal difference doesn't mean you make a less than optimal decision.

Browns should have taken Myles in 2017 and then traded back up for Mahomes in a similar way.

Would have been criticized harshly in The moment but 100% would have been worth it

Hind sight sure but Mahomes was a massive project coming out. If we gave up a haul to trade up into top 10 to get him. At the time, we would’ve been up in arms about it

and once again, the Eagles fleece. Proper compensation for Gannon shitbagging them in the Super Bowl

Great photoshop
