BCS ranking came out and the Bucks are at #5. So we still need LSU and WV to lose for us to get to the nati.

WV looks to be clear after beating Cinnci but LSU is gunna lose. There all holy defense has not looked so good in the last couple of games.

With all the crazy upsets this year we are not out of it.

At #5, we are really are #4, since Mizz and Kansas play next week. So, assuming the winner of that games loses to Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game, we move to #3. That means we only need WVU OR LSU to lose. Only one threatening behind us is ASU, who plays USC next weekend, and their rivalry game vs. AZ the week after.

WVU plays another ranked opponent next week vs. UCONN, and plays PIT the week after. LSU still has the SEC championship, and in that conference anything can happen.

Not that Pit is very good, but at least they are rivals with WVU. That doesn't hurt.

My guess is that 1 of the 3 happens, putting osu at #3. Then, if we win the Rose Bowl, we'll finish at #2, wondering "what if?"

id say 75% if LSU plays UGA, that will be a problem since it would be like OSU playing a Big 10 Championship at the Browns stadium, the advantage would be in the Dawgs corner for sure. If they play Tenn. i think they have a good shot at beating them. I still kind of find it hard to believe Kansas is as good as they are, ive seen them play once and i dont know, im still not sold on them, i think they could get beat by Oklahoma. But who knows. Everyone always plays well against rivals, look at how well Ole miss played LSU. Granted it was at the Grove but Ole Miss is a terrible team. Anything can happen, but i would not be shocked to see osu come out and play.

The simple answer is money. The only team that it makes financial sense for the Big Ten to add is ND, and it doesn't make financial sense for ND to join.

Doug - Come on, WVU 4th? Please stop rewarding their creampuff schedule...they have not scheduled a ranked non conference opponent in 5 years.

Beating Penn State in front on 100,000 in Happy Valley or Michigan in front of 100,000 is far more difficult than beating Cinci or U Conn.

WVU would be underdogs if they played any other team in the top 15.

Don't forget to keep an eye on Arizona State, a victory over USC might convince enough voters to have them jump over OSU.
