Moving on up!

We've got our second chance. I'd say the odds are better than 50/50 that either Oklahoma wins next week against today's KU/MU winner or West Virginia loses.

We'll be no worse than #3 tomorrow evening.

I think we are going to be in for a month of "OSU vs. WVA? They would lose 3 games a year playing in the SEC" crap.

If we go to the National Championship game, I'm confident that we'll win - no matter who we play. Not bad for a "rebuilding" year. The schedule worked out this year for us.

And, look the hell out next year. No matter what happens, I believe we are preseason Top 3 next year (unless Notre Dame is up there - we all know how that works:chuckles:)

OSU vs. USC will be as close to a 1 vs 2 as you can get early in the season.

And for all those SEC people bitching about our "easy" schedule - this year was a fluke. We beat 2 #2 teams last year. We've lost 4 games in 3 years - two to the eventual National Champions (Texas and Florida) and a team that finished #3 (Penn State) on the road.

Look at what we got non-conference for the next 10 years:

2008-09 - USC
2010-11 - Miami (Fl)
2012-13 - California
2014-15 - VA Tech
2016-17 - Oklahoma

Assuming one of the two scenarios above happens, OSU will have a month to read their press clippings again this year. Except, they won't be about how great they are. They will be all about how they don't deserve to be there. I believe that's happened before.....................in 2002..................when we had "no chance" against Miami...................and were simply "lucky to be there."

That worked out pretty well for us if I recall correctly.

I don't understand how the best conference in the universe doesn't have a team still in the running for the NC game. There must be some kind of mistake! How did we let this happen??

I find it funny how when the top SEC team loses, its because of "parity", but when the top Big 10 team loses, its because the conference sucks.

Arkansas may not be ranked but they got the best player in the country, its not like they got smashed, they lost in triple overtime....again. Guess thats what you get bunch of good teams beating up on each other all year, and nobody comes out a winner.

Annoucing the return of the double-standard.....

Nobody can say what team is good when they are not ranked. People have a bias on each conference, and a lot of people have one towards the SEC. Somebody put that conference up on a pedestal like how pussy was in the 40 year old virgin.

Fact of the matter is SEC cant talk until the play somebody tough out of conference, until then OSU can continue to dominate and create jealousy when over hyped teams like lsu drop.

Lets go UConn!

A TD before the half here by UConn would go a long way in making this an actual game.

They just shot themselves in the foot by turning the ball over in bad spots. If not for that, this game would be a whole lot closer.

A defensive meltdown to start the 2nd half though. UConn is going to give up 40 points in this game, can't see them winning a shootout.

Boomer Sooner, Boomer Sooner.

Bummer. OSU needs to win on Saturday, yes that other OSU.

So do we move up past #3???? Prolly not. What has to happen next week to get us to #2?
